As a 66 year old woman who never seriously played videogames before, this was very challenging but as I saw the first episode of Dr Who when I was 16 (I thought I was younger) I had to have a go. Well several actually. I won't mention any times except to say - more than I should be spending on this. I never managed to retrieve the L and E and the second G was pretty hard as the place was infested with angels of death by then probably because I overlooked one of the detours to light up the robot or whatever it is in the bottom left hand corner - nasty piece of work that angel! It looks a lot easier when each level is not superimposed on the preceding levels. I did discover that if for the first O you retrieve the third blue egg from among the leaves top left before crossing the canyon you get a free ride home with a pterodactyl or something of that ilk. I have still not managed to get the barge to come up the Thames for me. All good fun - I would love to finish but real life is calling and my legs are going numb and I need a cuppa.
I played the game at around three and a half minutes to four minutes without losing a life. I played the Tom Baker version. Though I had to practice a lot before getting one of the better game plays. Thanks for putting up this video.
My record: 7:54, with only four regenerations: two Doctors lost to the Cybermen, two lost to that damned Weeping Angel and not a single Doctor lost to those laser floor tile thingies because I'm an old Frogger ace. And thanks, Denica Baeva , for mentioning that pteranodon-hitchhiking trick. :)
RivieraStudios Yeah, that Weeping Angel's a tricky one. You're in a little pen in the corner, the Angel comes wandering out and just when you think that you can slip past him just like you slipped past the Daleks and the Cybermen, he blinks in front of you. I still can't predict his moves.
66 minutes and i'm 58 yrs old and don't play video games. So I finished anyway. I'm going to play again and try the blue egg trick. Lot's of Dr Who fun.
You can get the "blue egg" in the bush for the second scene with the dinosaurs. It gives you a short cut once you reach the "O" as a pyrodactyl will carry you back to the TARDIS. Cheers.
you have to work out the square sequence in your head and then just hit,...and hit. the best tip is to not refresh the screen. clocking the first 3 levels are easy, but you need a gameplan for the last 2.
if you collect the egg on level 2 and you finish the level a dinosaur will take you back to the time machine so if you see an object at the start and see it again at the end collect the one at the start then get letter that is in Google then something will take you to the time machine so you will not have to walk back to the time machine because if you do collect the object you see at the start and see at the end it will be quicker to get to the time machine to reach the next level.Iput this comment on because the person who is playing this game did not do it I did it and it was much quicker, reply on this comment if you spot the egg at the start on level 2 that is on the same ground as the time machine

The doodles for Dr. Who are great, Google, thanks for sharing You Tube.
if you collect the egg behind the bush and then go to it in the nest, a pterodactyl will carry you to the box

So you can use the mouse?! How stupid of me using the arrow keys and die many times...
there is an egg in the bush in the second level, after you collect it go to the nest and mother dinosaur will come and take you to the beginning
I got a high score on a Google doodle game and recorded it!

The level I found most challenging was the one with the weeping angel as it took me a while to figure out how to escape from it
SOOO glad i found this!

2:01 is my best time, however I did not know the thing about the egg, that might cut a few seconds
Would love a new one for the 60th
On the second level if you collect the third egg behind the bush a bird flies you back across once you get the O.
Most people don't see this! Video here on UA-cam ignores this method.
did anyone saw an other level after finishing these? i swear i entered a level i never saw again but i died realy fast to take a better look...
