Top of the morn'n to you.
Testing razors is bitter sweet. When it doesn't meet expectations it is disappointing. But on the other hand you get to do more honing on it. :)
    Thanks for sharing.

Correct, more work to be done. But I think the Rozutec has potential to be a good one. More testing to be done. Thanks for watching.

    Very nice shave Eric!
Eric, I can still remember my grandfather, who died in 1987 at the age of 75. I was 13 at the time, shaving with a straight razor (5/8 or 6/8 round point with a glittery ivory colored handle)! I wish I could remember exactly how he did it! Also because he was one of only two barbers in the whole area.

Thanks Robert. I have fond memories of my Paw as well, he has been gone 20 years and I still miss him. Tuff old man, but he showed me what it was to work, stand my ground and be a man. I hope I can pass on some of him to my grand kids.

Seen it and liked it, as usual !
The same feeling of light burning i have after Rozutec,it only goes away if i strop the razor on 0.5 micron paste....
Do you think its about the technique or the stone?

I need to test more, from what I felt it’s not far off. It’s too porous for me to try oil, but I am going to try finish on my water/glycol/handsoap mix next. Also going to go up to 5k synthetic before I move over to Rozutec. Not sure if slurry would help in this case, but I may to a test run with that too.

@@BigEShaves Thank you! Please post a video if you find the magic solution for Rozutec since it gave me lot of stress and im very curious if its the stone or me.....got a feeling its me...

I liked the Rozutec, I hardly put any work into it. Probably a little toothy. But it has potential, I plan on thoroughly testing it and see what I can get out of it. It’s got good potential

Obviously I can't comment on your soap and lather today , as I've been spoilt by yours 😊.
I watched was great interest your last honing and it did appear the Nantlle valley was quite a bit superior, same with your shave I've not tried either stone , but all Welsh slates I've tried are generally good . I'll try to find a Nantlle valley and compare to my dragons tongue which I suspect is more course.
Wonderful follow up shave from your honing video 🎉. I've a styptic pencil ✏️ from Egypt works well , but luckily I very rarely need it 😂.
      Ps beautiful razors .

Great shave my friend! Was that your first A&E soap to use? Very nice gift. Enjoy the rest of your week!

Yes my first one. I have use my soap most to the time. I have a few Night Watch Soaps and some of Joe’s I really like. But I have never been a soap and scent chaser. Man I have so much tied up in stones, that’s what I enjoy. With that said, I was impressed with this base, and my wife liked the scent, it’s a winner. It was slick and thirsty, which is all I ever care about. Thanks for watching bud.

Great video Eric! I’m thinking of trying the XTG the way you do it, doesn’t come naturally so exactly the reason to learn.

@@seanstapelfeld I saw Greg uses the same stroke and that diagonal neck pass as well. And I will coach you thru it, it will only cost a 5x3 vintage coti. Thanks for watching.

Nice shave, Eric. Finally got enough time to watch. I don’t know anything about the honing stone you used, but looked good. Look forward to your Zulu.
