Those are definitely beasts of a fly but easy to cast with the right technique and rod. If I had the extra money 💵 I’d be very interested in that rod and line set up.
The 8'8" cast's very very well, Big game depthfinder 500gr works nicely. These are in my mind delicate rods however, I've had warranty sections ordered twice now since purchasing new. Can cast all day no problem. The snake guides are holding up well surprisingly.
