  • Seriously, I know that these students aren't malu-malu (shy), but who knew that such a big voice is in such a little person. Thalia, Thalia, Thalia... and in Mandarin.
2nd day of Public Speaking and Performance and I am throwing my entire syllabus to the dogs. We need to level up.
Oh, and if anyone knows the title of the song... let me know!

    Hello and apa kabar semua,
Through some force of nature you stumbled over my page.
    Thank you for staying.

Born to Indonesian German parents I made my first acquaintance with Jakarta as a newborn and left months after to be raised in good ol' Europe.
After a somewhat nomadic lifestyle I made my way back to Jakarta (or the 'big durian', as I like to call it) in 2013 to find myself completely inadequately equipped for survival in this chaotic urban jungle.

It's been just over four years and I am still feeling a bit like a tourist.

Here are some impressions of my life here in Indonesia, as a photography enthusiast, analogue lens lover and proud teacher.

You can reach me by sending me a private message to Instagram, or Facebook.

If you have some thoughts on what you would like me to cover, do let me know!
    Much love and terima kasih,

    Christine
    Regards,
