Pastel de toamna - Defileul Jiului, jud. Gorj / Autumn in Jiu Gorge, Gorj County [DN66/E79]

Defileul Jiului este valea salbatica şi spectaculoasa care desparte masivele muntoase Parâng si Vâlcan. Inclusa intr-un parc national cu vaste zone impadurite, aceasta poate fi strabatuta atat cu masina, cat si cu trenul, intre localitatile Târgu-Jiu (jud. Gorj) si Petroşani (jud. Hunedoara).
The Jiului Gorge is the wild and spectacular valley that separates the Parâng and Vâlcan mountain ranges. Included in a national park with vast forested areas, it can be crossed both by car and by train, between the towns of Târgu-Jiu (Gorj county) and Petroşani (Hunedoara county).
