Cheers Neil, they do look nice and have been really easy to keep... the polyps come out every evening as the lights start to drop off and stay out all night. Hope to catch you on a live soon!! 👍
Great to see the Nano again. You , Nathan and Reef King inspired me to get my nano. Great tank and very stable. Interested to see you dose Salifert iodine. SPS being doing well. I need to start my SPS journey in the next couple in months. Really enjoyed the update. 👍
Hi mate just looking to buy some tunze 6040s, how quiet are they in your experience, I need to make my tank near silent, would really appreciate if you could let me know. Cheers
Ok so they are not silent... if you have them on a pulsing wave motion you can hear it.. I have heard far worse but I wouldn’t want you to buy them and not be happy. If you have them on a constant flow they are much more quieter. The Nero 3 was the quietest small pump I had but again if you put it on a wave flow and strong percentage of power you can still just about hear them. Hope that helps.
@@0xxddxxd392 yes it was for me... my wife said that the 6040 was annoying her so I put the 6040 on constant flow and changed the Nero 3 to the pups setting and it was better... this was only in a small nano so I didn’t need to put much power on on the pulse which helped too.
Thanks Richard, I make you right. I am still Deciding whether I will continue with sps in the nano or move it all to my new tank and make the nano an lps and softie tank... decisions decisions!! Thanks for watching
@@paulukreefer5012 yeah it's more about spread and consistent PAR over 200 or more. It would prob be cheaper to add a second light then fill it with lps. Most lps are not cheap and tiny frags take forever to grow large.
Great update Paul. I do love those Neon Green Candy Canes. May have to get some of them 🙂

I would say you would want a more powerful light like like an xr15 or hyrdra 32 or even just 2 of the red sea 50's
Thanks Richard, I make you right. I am still

What size wave maker is that
There is a Nero 3 and a Tunze 6020 👍
Hi there. I am trying to find that overflow mod anywhere but to no avail. Can you point me in some direction, please?
There is an stl file for it on thingverse website. Simply download it and send it to a 3d printing company of your choice👍
