Thank you for another fun video and many thanks to Bowie for the story. I had that book when I was a kid ❤. I would absolutely becoming to the movie and crafting event if I was local. what a great idea!!
Love a cute rhyming story, thank you Bowie! Thank you Jen for the hat pattern! I will sift thru stash for bulky (or multiple strands of whatever…), love a quick & fun project… any time! PS can’t wait to hear Bowie Story Time Part 2!
Thank you for doing this blog as. I love spending a few minutes with you and your family and seeing what you thought of to share. Your family is wonderful. Bowie reads so well.
That's a perfect book for your turtle fan Bowie! I did a similar knitting reorganizing on Friday. All the needles and leftovers from recently completed projects got put away in the right places.
This is so much fun, Jen! Somehow I watched 17 ahead of 16🤦♀The gummi bears experiment looks like a fun one to try! LOVE how Bowie tried them vicariously through you💛I will definitely go on Ravelry to get your Jen's Half Hour Hat pattern! Thank you, Bowie, for reading Yertle to us (and to Dinah who settled right in ).
My aunt has been making these for years but she uses 7up instead of sprite. To get all the gummies to retain their shape evenly, she doesn't put that many in the bowl but doesn't use a bowl. She places the gummies in a very shallow half sheet pan making sure their not touching. And then pours just enough 7up so the liquid just covers the gummies about 3 times the height of the candy. She checks on it occasionally and if the 7 up starts to level off to the tops of the candy, she adds more 7up to the pan. They shouldn't be floating around but remaining still in the pan. Just keep an eye on the 7up level.
Thanks for hat pattern! I did size 15 needles with Encore Mega. it fits my head but I think I'm going to add 6 more stitches on next one since gauge wasn't spot on. I so enjoy your Vlogmas, thanks for inviting us into your life!
Story time with Bowie! Move over Jen… Bowie is the main character of this channel now. Many people don’t know Dr. Seuss wrote Yertel the turtle to represent Hitler.
he's TOTALLY the main character and I love it! thanks for your kind words. 🥰 (WOW - about hitler - I didn't know that. the first time Bowie read it, he said it sounded like trump and I couldn't agree more.)
Love the storytime with Bowie...that may need to become a recurring feature🐢

Hanks Bowie. I listened to your story time while wrapping presents. Linking a not so favourite chore with a treat helps me get all the things done.

Awesome - sounds like a good plan! It definitely can vary in size depending on gauge. So glad you’re enjoying Vlogmas!
Hope Bowie has a turteleeeee day.
Move over Erica, Bowie is a rising star.
😂
Sprite has high fructose corn syrup, not very healthy . Trader Joe's has a healthy alternative for soda. Just a tip..❤
True - thanks for the tip! (This whole snack is probably not the healthiest.)
