Er Mer Gersh. I'm sitting here so hungry trying to get myself up to make lunch and I had to go and watch this. Now nothing I make will taste nearly as good as what I imagine this to taste like. I feel like my lunch has been ruined 🤣
Great job Mike!! I’ve used my Meat Stick X several times in my pit boss 850. Once I get it going it works fine but I have major issues with getting it to connect from the beginning. I bet your smoker is just to thick for it. Of course your pork tenderloin looked amazing!! 👍🏼😋🍻
Thanks, and yeah the smoker steel is too thick. I got another video coming out on my pellet smoker were it was successful. I had trouble getting the firm ware to update and work, but now it's working good.
Can't beat some good old pork tenderloin. Looked fantastic. I've had the same connectivity issues with my Meater+. I gave up on that. Looks like the Meat Stick has the same issues.
@@MikeBrownBBQ I really don't think a wireless Probe would even work on that pit but maybe somebody will make one that does one day. probe will probably have to be as big as that pork tenderloin just to have a transmitter strong enough for that Thick Steel 🤣
@@TRIPLEBsBBQ Yep🤣🤣🤣🤣, after discussing it with customer support that's what we came up with. it not just the meat stick x, meaters have the same problem with thick steel also. my next video will have a better review of it!!
Mike your pork tenderloin looks great! I have a Meatstick X and a Meater both work ok with the little Weber kettle and are really useful when you cook on the rotisserie. Your giant pit is probably too thick to get a good signal through. Rootboy Approved! 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

Thanks!! Yeah, the steel on my 250-gallon smoker is too thick to transmit through. It did work on my thinner steel pellet smoker though.
He'll yea. Pork tenderloin is def underrated. nice cook Mike
Thanks Brother!! It's too easy and delicious!!

Thanks!! And yep that's the problem. It works on my pellet smoker
You ever consider putting a probe port in your smoker so you don’t run the risk of crimping the wire to your wired probe?
Nah, I don't use probes that much to worry bout it, never messed a wire up like that.
Looks awesome. Is season all saltier than lawrys or about the same?
Thanks, Yes this stuff is Slightly salter than lawrys but has a better flavor.
Sure as hell don’t need no dam technology when smoking meat just pure instinct practice makes perfect 👌
No, you don't I very rarely use electronics when I smoke!!
@@MikeBrownBBQ great content brother! A shout out here from west Texas El Paso!! What’s your 20???
