They are very cute. And I call them Grippers. Great idea of using jar lids to hold the weight. I love being able to upcycle what would otherwise be "trash". TFS!
Omg Sarah those pots make really cut Christmas hats! I never ever thought of it! So cute! I can't believe it! So cute! I really love the little gnomes the best!!!.😅😁🐾
Sweet! I’ve purchased fabric with “anti slip/skid” GRIPPERS for making grandchildren slippers . I refer to them as GRIPPER DOTS? I use regular craft acrylic paints for flower pots, never had a problem as you did with gold? But all & all VERY sweet little guys!🥰
Thank you - grippers! LOL Okay, so that gold was SO pretty and it was going over white gesso, so there should have been no problem. But it wasn't covering it at all. It was from the Mondo Llama line from Target (which I've used with success before, so maybe I got a bad batch).
I just made my first gnome. Oh how adorable is he . Anyway I used a clean can top as my base. So I was glad to see you use the jar lid. I love your inspirations
It's a good trick - jar lids, cardboard cut outs (the thicker cardboard), wood rounds, and even bottle caps (depending on the size) all work great for stabilizing something heavy. Thank you so much for watching along with me, Rhonda.
I get my waverly chalk from Walmart. I can't find it anywhere else. But Walmart isn't getting there shipments. Because of the cost of the container ships. So now if I have the money and see they're in stock I grab some lol.
Yes! Some people in the Facebook group told me Walmart will no longer be carrying the Waverly brand and is replacing it with hobby something? Get what you can. :)
A ton of people told me in the Facebook group that many stores are no longer carrying it and have replaced it. They said that Folk Art is a good chalk paint brand, as well. :)
Yes, thank you for sharing, Kay. Some of the fur styles you can get very reasonably priced, however, the longer pile and more "exotic" faux styles, however, can get quite pricey.
Wonderful display of useful directions! Thanks so much😊
Really cute. I will be making some for gifts. 🎁
Very sweet thank you.😊😊
Omg!! I have to try to make these cuties🍃🍃🌿🌺🌺

YES! Love to up-cycle, too. :) Grippers - I cannot believe I forgot that... LOL
So cute
Love these little guys!
Thank you so much, Donna. I think they're just so fun (and I have oodles of those little pots from the Dollar Tree). ;)
Awesome

Yes, that's a perfect idea! And thank you so much for the sweet compliment, Donna.
Thanks for the idea of using the jar lid, had been trying to figure out how I can keep them from falling over.

Grippers are what I always knew those to be on the bottom of the socks.
Ahhh GRIPPERS!!! That makes more sense than nubby things. LOL
Walmart still has Waverly on line. Some stores have it, some do not.
Yes, I can put it in my cart but cannot check out. It keeps saying that they are not available. :(

I get quart size chalk paint at Home depot.
I get mine at Walmart. Our Walmart still has lots of it
I've been two of them twice now and they only have this stuff. Apparently, they are phasing them out, so stock up if you can.

I can’t find Waverly chalk paint either

Walmart sells the fur by the yard... $3.99 a yard

Waverly is being replaced by hello hobby
Ahhh, so it's NOT just me. UGH I really don't like the white one that replaced Waverly. It's quite chunky.
