    This is like the wealthy area of Fort Myers Florida. All that work you put into having a beautiful house and in one second all that hard work is gone, nothing last forever. Will be an interesting rebuild with supply chains being short. Those who had the basics damaged may be hard pressed to find replacements. Some stuff even before this was short. Many won't see replacements for quite a while. The other thing is with inflation, the cost of things being higher. The storm damage total in $ is due to increased population the areas has seen. As time goes on and population goes up, you will see high $ amounts just with that. Now this recovery won't be like Irma, of course Irma hit mostly poor areas. However, in 2017 supply chains were healthy, this recovery will take longer, and couple the fact it will be through another season or two of tropical weather.
    Next year, La Nina will have faded, this means increased activity. It is a risk you take when living there, we have a place, got some flooding but that's it. But its a risk...

    • @emilyvickery8081
      @emilyvickery8081 2 роки тому +3

      @@Darknimbus3 See now they are good reasons not to build there in the first place. That's not 'bashing' USA as there's an island off east coast mainland Australia where land developers have created canals, yet the island is no more than a foot above sea level. (canal living made to sound very upmarket is what they were achieving... backing onto crown land). Wrong. Do some research.
      “Soon after the destruction of Hurricane Katrina was made clear, countries from around the world gave a staggering amount of foreign aid to the U.S. In total, over 90 countries offered the U.S. $854 million in cash and oil (to be sold for cash). Besides big spenders like the United Arab Emirates, who pledged $100 million in cash and $400 million in oil, frequent recipients of U.S. aid added their offers to the table. Bangladesh pledged $1 million along with rescue workers. Thailand, having only one year earlier suffered through the massive tsunami, offered 60 doctors and nurses, and rice as a “gesture from the heart.” Donors were not limited to friends, either. Cuba, a country that has repeatedly rejected U.S. humanitarian aid in the past, offered the services of 1,100 doctors.”

      @@SzymczykProductions Man is destroying the planet and that’s leading to climate change and catastrophic events like this. By GOD’s grace most people are still alive because none of us deserve to be alive but yes by GOD’s grace you and I are still here. @@KAT-dg6el dont they have bunkers also in trailer parkers there in kansas since big tornadoes ..like each lot space has a bunker down spot next to it.. kinda hard to just be warn at times because tornadoes move around in places unlike this big hurricane in florida people got time to go but others wanted to ride it out

      Here in San Diego we have trailer parks near the beach bay but we don't get hurricanes and crazy storms.. we just get wild fires mostly up mountains. Sucks for people there that lost their homes didn't really expect a massive hurricane to hit like that.. good thing they got warning ahead of time to leave.. hope most did.. even regular homes got blown down and sweap away.. just crazy how the place looks like a massive bomb blew that place up and boats cars are flipped like toys..
