The amount of Joes that have no clue but still push it on track is hilarious and scary at the same time. Seeing how many people are mobing it into Adenau Frost and take the 911 Dakar line makes my day.

Note to all drivers: If you jump into the grass at Adenauer Forst, it's important that you go flat out immediately after putting a dent in your pride and take most of the Eifel topsoil with you as a souvenir before you re-enter the track without looking back. Bonus points will be awarded if you then fishtail and fully smash your damaged vehicle into the guardrails car like the heroic Porsche pilot at 1:15 was unsuccessfully trying to do!
Funny but, look closely at his rear right wheel hitting the curb, it decided to go "stance" mode oof🤣

I think it's a combination of that and brake fade. In the case of the BMW at 16:50 it's just stupidity.
of course its a tricky corner, but some people just seem to not even know this corner exists because they dont brake or turn in lol
and when im on the nordschleife the first time i take a really easy lap at a speed where this cant happen

Alot of comments are blaming people for being dumb. But if you have ever driven the track, you would know how tricky it is. The whole section before this is really fast and the corner is practically blind because you're going uphill.
It's surprising that so many people try to carry way too much speed into one of the slowest parts of the track.

Why do people don't practise in a videogame the track? I went for the first time to Nurburgring this August and thanks to onboard videos and games I knew every corner and didn't put myself or others at risk.

You would think people would learn the lay-out of the track before trying to look like a pro driver. Many people say it’s a difficult corner. But when you know the lay-out, you know what’s coming, blind corners or not.

Knight rider almost made it. His grass drifting was unmatched though. Kitt was a little pissed off at that point.
At 3:10 the front engine Corvette driver doing what they do. Oversteer. Come back on track ram front spoiler into curb instead of using the torque fo come on the track at the right angle
Maybe put a barrier there and then see the reaction of these drivers again

Ironically, the Ford at 13:40 was one of the worst ones in the video. Especially afterwards when he could've just turned left but instead turned right and made a whole pointless circle. Lol....Ford drivers.

Drivers that are carrying so much speed into the double apex into Adenauer Forst that they end up going straight here are terrifying. The correct line needs you to come out of the left near the middle of the track to make the next right hand apex. If they haven't crashed somewhere else by now I'd be shocked.

Can anyone who’s been to Nurburgring explain how you can get this corner so wrong? From onboard lap videos I’ve seen it looks pretty difficult to carry so much excess speed into this corner. Is it down to sighting? Brake fade? Stupidity?
It’s a very difficult corner to drive correctly. There’s a very weird apex because it’s veeery late you have to approach the corner from the far outside and stay out longer than it feels comfortable. Also the entrance is slightly uphill so the car gets ever so slightly lighter which decreases grip. There’s a lot you can do wrong in this corner so it’s wise to drive it’s slower… remember: slow is smooth, smooth is fast
Just pure inexperience, people tend to carry too much speed and as it leads uphill and you don’t see apex early, they tend to brake late. Playing simracing games before visiting surely helps 💪
Having been there twice on a motorbike I can attest to the previous two replies.
You get from one of the fastest parts in the Fuchsröhre to one of the slowest parts, and the whole of the Adenauer Forst section is blind.
The slight right bend before is a bit deceiving, because you think you can carry more speed through it, but as you realise you're too fast for the left hander it's already too late to brake and get the turn in.
I wonder if some people's brains just go full Dumbo mode where they think nothing can happen to them be completely missing the brakepoint

Durch Leichtbau, werden solche Teile eben nur so groß/stabil wie nötig entwickelt.

schau dir mal die fläche nach dem kerb an bzw. deren struktur, da wirken irre kräfte auf das rechte rad in eine richtung, für die es nie entwickelt wurde

I was going to complain against the guy on the green Porsche, but this is full of terrible drivers. I hate when people crash and think they can still go back right to the middle of the track at full speed, without even aknowledging other drivers.
