Thank you very much! Not a lot of videos explain this or even envision this as well as you.
Thanks for this idea, I'm planning to use your 3d stl files and use it for my next project.
Those are great ideas and very nicely done, thanks!
This is just beautiful
You are amazingly talented!
Que trabalho Fantástico!
Awesome! I want to make some now! Thanks for sharing 👍😁
Obrigado amigo!!! Congratulações do Brasil!!!
Excellent job!
Very creative .... thanks for sharing!
Greetings from your 769th subscriber 😀
I will borrow that great idea of yours for one of my future diy projects.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Very clever design.
This is mind blowing
Your videos are so amazing
That is very clever!

Very clever!
Felicitaciones que buen trabajo, saludos desde Israel.
Good job!
Gracias me diste una gran idea
Amazing 😍😍
Impressive dude.. 🙂
Very good, thank you.
cool stuff man :)
You can also use side lit LED strips in order to be able to put the acrylic sheets close together and/or to be able to use more than two sheets
Side-lit and edge-lit are the same thing as far as i know. Edge-light being more specific to referring to an edge to light, where side-lit would imply any planar surface to light. The technique that he person in the video is using is edge-lit. This is because the light is being applied on an edge planar surface of the acrylic. If I'm wrong, and I have been in the past, Is possible that you might be inferring to a specific footprint ( size / package / topology ) of addressable RGB LED? If that is the case, could you leave a part number i the comment section, so others could look it up, then use it in their own builds? Thanks in advance.😄👍
wow impressive my man! welcome from Hungary

Cool video. I wanted to share a trick I came up with doing something similar. Because the LED devices are wider than a sheet of acrylic you can stack 2 sheets on their edge on the addressable LED strips. Then you selectively mask, using black electrical tape for example, the edge of one or the other sheet of the acrylic. You can then program the addressable LEDs to drive the color you want to the positions that aren't masked. Works like a charm. If you want more light, buy the strips with more LEDS per meter. Last point, the display is brightest when viewed from the alternate side from the one you etched. People won't notice the 2 layers are a couple mm apart, but they will notice the change in brightness as it switches back and froth.
Thanks for the tip..
If I understand correctly, each sheet of acrylic can be assigned a unique identifier, correct --??
Yes...
thanks for share.!
SLAY! PERIODDDDD.....
Nice video :)
Which software did you use at first?
Cool
Very cool indeed, hi from Scotland :)
Hey, thanks!
Nice job, thank you for de tutorial. I try to download the stl and source file without success.
Can you upload the files to google drive or somewhere else easier to download and share the link.
Thank you in advance.
Good work how much is the range of cost thanks
Clever
👍👍👍
Can you provide me a supplier for the led bases in different sizes
Hello sir, how we can get just that led lights?
No idea if you’ll see this being 4 years old but would you know if this would work with resin sheets?
Wow
smart man
how do I get started making the design though
Sir, do you have a video or some Information about the Marker you use for carving the plates? It looks very usefull, Thanks :)
No, this was just a diy tool i hacked together for the project...
🙏🙏🙏
Can you please tell all tools name
love your work! and did you ever try more than 2 frames?
It is in my plans, i just haven't gotten around to it..
@@AhmsvilleLabs were you able to do it?
I did Marvin...expect a video about it soon...
😀
🇮🇳Very Nice 🇮🇳
Let me know the name of that gadget which you are using for drawing?
its an homemade engraving tool
@@AhmsvilleLabs I have few projects in mind. Can I get your no please? or you can connect with me in my whatsapp no +91 9007100854.
I have been watching everything I can find and you are the closest I have found to what I want to accomplish.
I see you have named the led strips channel one and channel two. Where are these defined in the code?
If I wanted to use more channels, say a front plate which is constant and a back plate using flare; how would I run these steady while running the two frame animation in between?
And, what if I wanted to do a three or five frame animation?
For example: one a three frame - I would want it to run as
One - two - three - two - one - two - three - two - one - two and so on?
Where can I find the FastLED Library?
github.com/FastLED/FastLED
Ahmsville thank you!!
So the data out put pin you use is 2 that is it? For how many out putts 2 also?
Yo dude I downloaded your file but I cant open it
@@AhmsvilleLabs the stl file
try downloading from - cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/base-for-acrylic-led-animations
@@AhmsvilleLabs thanks I got the 3d view. Do you also have a led base for 3 acrylic plates ?
Unfortunately I don't...but you can modify the design for 3 plates...
@@AhmsvilleLabs what if I pay you for it
Great job boss... Carlox from Nigeria, I have been wanting to achieve this for a while now... How did the you get the stand... ? Can I have your Instagram or twitter account pls
@Ahmsville on instagram.
very good
Good job!
