I think the issue with new Battlehost boxes is that GW doesn't seem to like putting resin/metal models in these boxes so I think the only ones we could potentially get right now is Moria with a Balrog, AotD with maybe the 3 hunters and KotD, maybe a Morannon themed one with Gothmoh and soon Dunland with the new plastics (either 24 wildmen + potential new cav or just 48 wildmen). I can see them wait to see how well these new movies do and then come with some new sculpts & boxes. As much as I'd love them I think Moria is out as they don't really have a named character. Easterlings are _possible_ if they give Khamûl a plastic model like they did the Witch-King (and if you do, GW, please give him a sprue so you can put him on the plastic fellbeast, ty). Rivendell could work with a well deserved update to the standard warriors. Would love any new boxes tbh, the more easy access into the game the better! No clue if there's any plastic heroes from the Hobbit trilogy but I think it's more likely we'll get boxes for the original trilogy and the upcoming movies.
Not sure if this was mentioned or not, But there is only one answer for The Hobbit Movies Battlehost boxes. Battle of Five Armies Battlehosts. Each Army gets one. Not sure what what be in them because I'm not 100% sure of the point values. I'll leave that up to you guys.
This was literally my entry to GW miniatures too. Loved the movies and saw the White Dwarf issue with 10 Uruk hai, got 2 of those an built a small Isenguard army. Saw how cool the 40K stuff looked and went on to get a small Imperial Guard and Grey Knights force. Stopped when I was around 16 but got back into it last year with the Leviathan box and have loved getting back into the hobby.
I think a fantastic one would be updated Armoured Celeborn & Galadriel in new plastic with some of the Galadhrim warriors & knights maybe for a starter box would be fantastic, of course I’d rather the whole box was updated models but I think that would be feasible. Overall we HAVE to start getting troops updated sometime because it’s hard to get new players into the game who don’t have that nostalgia for the older sculpts. The money you pay the model quality doesn’t stand up to 40K and AOS.
They need boxes for all factions that have multiple heros and troops options. All boxes should have warriors and an elite warrior plus a new hero sculpt foot and mounted
Definitely elves, at least 3 boxes: - Rivendell: 8 elven archers, 8 elven swords, 6 Rivendell knights, 4 high elves and the whole family with Elrond, Arwen, Elladan and Elrohir - Lothlorien: with Galadriel, Celeborn, 12 Galadhrim warriors, 12 wood elves, 6 sentinels and also add Haldir, Rumil and Orophin - And finally Mirkwood with Thranduil, Legolas, 6 palace guards and 24 wood elves (not really a fan of Tauriel and the Mirkwood rangers, but they could work as well)
I'm just glad Mesbg is still going looking forward to next edition 😊
@@LynxScenics Same! Praying it sells well 🙏🏻
Goblin and elven boxes would be amazing, I started with warhammer by collecting Middle Earth magazines in school
Good Times 😎 Time to get back into it 👀

@@joshcoles1255 Yes that's very true! They certainly need to start making their way though everything and updating them!
@@TTAlliance I hope the new stuff will sell well so GW will invest and take that chance on new troops the game needs it
