It was meant as an easter egg in the background, and you caught it. It's a 2015 CFL blaster I bought years ago for $5. I have never opened CFL in my life, but was a huge Als' fan as a kid. In fact, I still have a signed baseball from Joe Barnes, the Als' late 70s Cup winning QB. I met him on the subway after an Expos game and had him sign a ball I caught. He was surprised I recognized him. I was really young.
Amazing! Despite growing up in Edmonton in the 90s, I somehow latched on to the Als because i liked Tracy Ham and Mike Pringle (and I thought their jerseys were the nicest in the CFL). Now you’ve got me interested in CFL cards….
I've bought two boxes of this ,and two boxes of the previous year. I feel like for the money I'm getting way more value than when I buy premier at $250 a box.
i’m super excited to buy a box of two of us, I’ve seen a few videos so far and the stuff sounds great from the description of the cards if I had to try to save up to get a case of anything, it would definitely be this product
Well the Beniers was the hit but I too like those black obsidians card as the black gives the card a nicer appearance more so when auto'd with a gold auto. Keep ' em coming. #dryden
Saturation peaks and troughs through history, notably to satisfy box demand. It relates to consumers, middle men, and outside money flooding in and then out relative to generational talent and exogenous economic shocks. It's the same with the stock market. Ppl with fomo overpay at the all-time tops. And those who made profit take their profit, and move their money elsewhere (or they take the longer view, baking in corrective downturns). If everyone is in the hobby, there are little if any bargains or decent values. This is why I don't get why ppl talk endlessly about card value, as opposed to odds and macro econ forces. Cards aren't an investment. They are a sunk cost, from ppl's entertainment budget. If you are interested in owning cards, eBay is a buyer's market after these cyclical spikes. If you are interested in investing, invest in actual investments trending up with certainty, not down with uncertainty.
The Tech Cards mixed feelings. Some look great but not warmed up to them yet. Some do look nice. In 20 years looking at some of these tech cards I think will lose their appeal. #dryden
Honestly when you were previewing what is in this set. I laughed. Pardon my language but it just seems like a $hit mix of random sigs and inserts. They don’t even look like they’re from one set. #DRYDEN
I can see that, mindful SPx historically has been my favorite product, bar none. Basically, it's meant as the geometric, artistically inspired little brother of SPA. I def prefer the design to SPA and The Cup, which I find ostentatious and generic. To me The Cup reeks of bourgeois nouveau riche. SPx has been around no fewer than 26 years. I personally believe it all hangs together, but that's because I'm so cognizant of all the various historical subset nods. The gripe most ppl have is that UD Black should be a stand-alone product, as it has in some years past. My own gripe is I wish SPx would be a 10-pack format. With more packs, it would definitely seem more holistic and consistent. But the very reason I love SPx is they go apeshit re. lines and design.
Is that a sealed box of cfl cards in the background? What year?

High-end UD products yield very binary outcomes, and are insanely risky. I prefer Leaf where I am guaranteed multiple HOF for the same price point.
#dryden awesome as always
Great box.

Nice pulls! Still a great box #dryden
Interesting cards. Like 5 vs 4. Can't wait for In the Game Used. Better buy in my opinion #dryden
I’m okay with fewer cards in a pack as long as it is reasonably priced. I really dig the Obsidian cards with the foil. #Dryden

Great vid as always. Thanks for the break Fulton ! #dryden
Those Obsidian look so good!! #dryden
Sanderson, Beniers, Rossi... Not too shabby! #DRYDEN
This box was ok, i haven't decided if im getting any, im looking forward to in the game used i really like that set #dryden
SPX is such a cool set. How do you feel about the price point at $35/card. I’m not sure the value is there even if the eye appeal is. #dryden.
I liked SPx when it first hit the scene. These days I feel there are too many 'boxes' that have 1 pack with 4-5 cards. Nice rookies. #Dryden
The Black Obsidian cards are so sweet. Those are my favorite cards in the product #dryden
Personally I like that they reduced it to only one pack, I just wish ALL the cards were hard signed, a guy can dream right? Good stuff Fulton #dryden
Do you do any voiceover work? You definitely got a voice for radio! #dryden
SPX alot better configuration now with just 1 pack - enjoyed it for sure, thanks again! #Dryden
Nice little break. I really like the design of the cards. Thanks again! I'll be waiting on that leafs break. #DRYDEN
As a Sens Fan I love that Sanderson card and also the Brady love on the front of the box!🔥 #DRYDEN
Amazing looking cards! A bit above my budget but luckily I enjoy your breaks almost as much as my own ;) thanks! #dryden
Very nice cards. Glad I’m following your channel as I’m seeing new sets I can’t afford. #DRYDEN
Neat redesign! #dryden
The cards are just sweet. Totally wish more packs per box. It’s crazy to see how they have changed it so many times. #Dryden
its an ok product just not at this price point, over saturating at its finest #dryden
