- This is the first of many jobs I'll be using the Ford 640 on. In this video, I'm digging out a blade that's been sitting in the woodline for well over 15 years and touching up my driveway that got redone last spring!
Good job Brennan. Spreading gravel like a pro. Love the old Ford. Yours looks a little better than mine but stills gets the job done.
Cant beat an old Ford...I've got a '39 9N and just picked up a '58 601 workmaster.
Looks nice. Thumbs up
Great job and nice old tractor, I have 1954 860, It looks identical to your tractor.
They're great tractors!
I like your video , l have a road blade just like yours , l need to put a new cutting edge on mine , would you be so kind as to check for any info that maybe on the piece FYI … you were dragging it backwards, turn the blade 180 degrees so that the cupped part is doing the cutting . Thanks, Tim
Turn the blade around. You have it set for pushing dirt while backing up. Great tractor. I just bought another 640.
I had it set backward because I didn't want to take very heavy passes, I just wanted to bring up the compacted surface and fill in pot holes. I'll be doing it again before the ground freezes so I'll try it the other way too
He has it perfect for smoothing or dressing.
For grading he would need to spin it around.
You’re Blade is backwards
He's back dragging front like
