- ¿Sabías que Inglaterra 🏴 no es un país independiente? o qué el Reino Unido 🇬🇧 tiene una superficie territorial más pequeña que la de Ecuador 🇪🇨; el día de hoy vamos a ver un tema bastante interesante: Diferencias entre Islas Británicas, Gran Bretaña y el Reino Unido, así como mucho más, y si bien algunos pueden haber oído hablar de este tema, hoy lo vas a conocer de una manera mucho más completa y didáctica, así que no te lo pierdas y descubre por qué el Reino Unido no juega en los mundiales o eventos deportivos de fútbol y conoce una bandera formada por la unión de otras banderas.

El asunto se simplifica si se reduce al ámbito geopolítico y del dominio sobre territorios colonizados y países débiles de otros continentes; así como en participaciones en guerras de gran escala.
En esos casos, el rol directriz siempre ha sido ejercido por ingleses, y no por escoceses, irlandeses o galeses. Ésta es la razón por la cual se suele decir Inglaterra y no Reino Unido y menos Gran Bretaña.
En el mundo, todos quienes ocasionalmente usan el sobrenombre "La Pérfida Albión" lo hacen refiriéndose específicamente a Inglaterra.
En las Olimpiadas Gran Bretaña representa en el Fútbol!!!

they're Crown Dependencies, they have their own governments, the UK is responsible for defence and international relationships but they're not English and the people living there aren't English either.
