As promised, a more accessible (and consistent) way of beating the challenge using no DC classes or items, no perma or seasonal rare items, no DM items and a 400 point dragon pet. Once you get the rotation down, it's actually not as hard as I first thought it was. All rotations before Frostscythe goes down is optimal, using food at the start makes the strategy more consistent and Frostscythe's RNG is no longer such a big factor. Alot lesser food, pots and time can be used if you optimize the back rotation. I did not because I was lazy. Overclock was not used at the back because I was afraid I would mistime my Shield. You should definitely use it to speed up the fight as long as you can time your shield to block Cryozen's -Ice attack. I was playing super conservatively near the end, you don't actually need to so you can speed up the fight.
Nice job btw! Tho, I wouldn't say FrostScythe RNG is not a big factor if you can't tank the nuke well. It's a 4/10 chance of his nuke receiving an applied bonus. The possible combinations with repetition is 10. Since there are 4 ways Frost Scythe can get an applied bonus on his nuke phase. (r+n-1)! (3+3-1)! ------------ = ----------------- = 10 r! (n-1)! 3! @@kevinzheng3987 as long as you don't get hit by a -Ice from either Glai or Cryo, you can usually survive his nuke. Though not shown in this run you can heal with food if you get unlucky earlier on. This took me 6 tries, would have been a lot lesser attempts had I not been stingy with the healing/use of food after I got hit with the nuke. There's alot of leeway with this strategy considering how I didn't optimize the back end of this run

8:43 When I followed your rotation to the letter up to that point, Frostscythe managed to not only hit me past the shield, but killed me with that attack (the second strike dealt around 1800 crit damage). I looked it up and apparently that attack is a guarenteed crit with 300 bonus if the last 3 attacks involved attack 1 2 or more times or attack 3 two or more times (double damage if the latter). @@oscaramesfromED yes well it's super tedious to go re record every single past fight because of 1 change. Honestly the same strategy should work. This is also an RNG fight so straight up copying might not get you the same results every time
@@KorribanGaming Yeah because of Frost, it will be rerolled. I actually fought them and won 4 times before that change. Two times on 2 Characters, now I want to do it on my last alt xD.
