You couldn't be more wrong. In GRC = CISSP is decent, but in pentesting, OSCP rules and in Blue Team, GCIH is key. CEH will actually count AGAINST you if applying to some pentesting shops.

Yeah CEH is viewed as a joke cert by most of the industry, including here in Australia. Realistically it's an entry level cert and in no way actually makes you certified at anything let alone red teaming. Unfortunately bootcamp/6 months to a 100k/year Cybersecurity career scammers peddle this cert to the naive cause it sounds and looks legit. GIAC certs are legit, too bad the SANS courses cost an absolute f****** bomb
The CISSP exam costs 800 to 900 dollars and about 50% of people pass the first time.. That's a bit of a racket because it kind of turns the game into a rich person's club since a lot of people who are not yet employed in cybersecurity will have a hard time paying for that. Realtor licensing exams and exams healthcare related exams of 150 cost about $200 dollars in comparison.
you haven't touched on essence of coding in cyber security and languages mostly needed............if you can, talk about c# and c++ if they are really needed in this field
