I've been here since just after Emilia was born, I'm 25 - I've experienced miscarriage with you and my daughter is now just 3- I dont know if you've read any of my messages or DMs before but i appreciate you - so much ❤️
im disappointed. when I was pregnant with my first 5 years ago I followed your pregnancy vids. Today, I found out you neglected your son and made him think he's a girl. WOW!!!! respect gone.
I know, right? I'm currently in a comment war having to deal with people who like to fight for no reason over if it's a boy or girl. I keep telling them it's a boy, but THEY WON'T LISTEN!!!
I just had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks. Had surgery 7 days ago. 4 pregnancies in total. Two babies. I’ve really worked hard on my PF in the last year and it really does make a difference. I’m not sure about a third baby. I’m still grieving. But my pelvic floor is a solid reason not to. My mum collapsed down there after her third live birth. I don’t want that. Not enough is shared about this issue. Being a woman is so so so hard. Love your channel Anna x
I NEEDED THIS, Anna my pelvic floor is so banjaxed 😂 Such a brilliant integration & really helpful, loved the style of this video so much too with all the clips! Such nostalgia! xxx
Thank you for sharing this Anna😌. I’ve had 3 kids in three years, breastfed them all, and it’s DEFINITELY taken a toll on my body. Women need to know that, especially if they plan on having kids back to back-it’s a lot! That’s why I started my own UA-cam channel on motherhood and being a doula to help other mothers and future mothers❤️. Love your channel 💕!!!
Same with me, I got pregnant with my second baby when my daughter was 11months, my daughter and son are 22 months apart, they are now 5 and 3 but it's taken a huge toll on my body, for me I still feel so weak all the time I don't know if it's because I was young when I had them plus having them both back to back, my first birth was really hard so I don't think my body was properly recovered. It's such a wonderful experience though! For me personally now I have one of each though I don't think I will be having any more as I feel like my body could handle any more pregnancies as its taken such a toll. I had an unplanned pregnancy which turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy back in September 2019,i still cry about it but everything happens for a reason x
The flashbacks made me realize how long I’ve been here (Since Eduardos pregnancy).. I now have two boys of my own 😊I appreciate you so much Anna!! I finally bought myself a pair of jeans in my new size for my new body :) thank you
My god, I’ve been around since you lived in Dublin, I’ve just watched this and realised how young you were when you got married and had Emilia. I’m 24 now - mind blown!!!! Fab video, some great info and a resource that is available and accessible to most women. Good work Anna x
Yes! I'm so happy pelvic floor talks are more common. I would NEVER have known about its importance before. What you said about not being able to see the benefits is so true. Sometimes it's hard to find the motivation to do the exercises if you feel like nothing is happening.
I’m 15 weeks pregnant and although my midwife briefly mentioned that I need to be doing this, I didn’t really take it in among all the other information I was given. Thank you for talking about it, I will definitely try to include it in my day now xx
Oh my god, baby Emilia was so chubby and cuuuuute! I can't! 😍😍 Also been here since the Style diet days, Jonathan seems to be ageing backwards and you look like a goddes, good thing you guys made 4 kids, those are some good genes! It would have been a waste if you didn't pass them to a new generation! 😜
I love the content you put out. I don't think I can even name and remember all the things I've learned from you! I hope you realise that what you do is so important to a lot of (young) viewers! Thank you so much 💖
I just ran across your videos again because I am currently pregnant with #5 (pregnancy 6) and I remembered you from when I had my 1st baby at 17 years old. I was so scared and didn't know what to expect so I watched your videos. Now here I am, 26 years old and expecting #5 in July.. time really flies once you start having children. Love watching your videos!!! Xoxo
Wow, Anna! You always amaze me because you are so stunningly beautiful and yet so "real"... I needed this video because my boy is 4 years old and I cannot do jumping jacks lol I mean, if I insist on doing them I am going to have to buy some depends. 😭😂
Thank you for speaking up about the changes pregnancy does to our bodies that not many people speak about. My babies have wrecked my pelvic floor lol, I’ve had three babies in the past two years 🙈 everyone’s comments are always about if I wish my stomach was back to normal, or if I wish I could get more sleep but my honest answer is always no, I just wish I could walk without wetting myself 🤣
Funny you “trained” yourself to do maintenance exercises while you brush your teeth. I trained my body/brain to do “the clench” every time I’m stopped at a stoplight years ago. I don’t even think about it any more, I just do it instinctively. Thank you for always being real. ❤️
Yess! I'm SO happy you're talking about this. I tried to message you about pelvic floor physio when you mentioned leaking years ago even though I figured you'd never read it so I'm really glad someone in your "real life" was able to actually tell you about it haha and you got the help you needed :) A lot of people have trouble with relaxing their pelvic floor so it's too tight to stop leaks properly and squeezing and squeezing and squeezing can just make things "worse"(/tighter) for them. The best bet for anyone experiencing issues is definitely to see a pelvic floor physical therapist if that's accessible to them :)
Been watching you since I was pregnant with my first daughter. She just turned 8 in October. I started watching your very first pregnancy videos. So crazy how time flies!
I’m not a physio but i would recommend seeing a women’s physio/pelvic floor physio before starting any exercises. Some women actually have a high tone pelvic floor and need to learn to relax, so doing strengthening exercises can be harmful if its not the right thing for your body ☺️
Wow the timing of this is amazing. I have only had one pregnancy but my pelvic floor is awful 😢 Last night I was laying in bed and suddenly coughed and had a leak. When I’m sick I have to wear a pad because coughing causes me to leak almost every time. I’ll be checking these out for sure!
Thank you for doing this Anna, so many women suffer needlessly with a weak pelvic floor! I am needing a bit of a revamp due to the effects of peri menopause so this is helpful for me as well! If you haven't already done it, I think it would cool if you did a video similar to this one but sharing the differing experiences of postpartum mental health with each of your pregnancies. I know first hand how different it is from pregnancy to pregnancy (especially with the differences between postpartum with baby and postpartum with loss). I think it would be helpful to so many people. Much love! 💗
Hi anna Thankyou for posting about this. I am a mum of 3 girls (aged 25, 23 and 11). I didn’t experience bladder leakness until before my 3rd. During pregnancy I had morning sickness and one day I gagged so hard I heard a crack and I full on wet myself. Several years later I went to get help and I was scanned and my bladder was checked. I was asked to pee into a bottle and bring it back into the room. She then re scanned my bladder and it was 95% full. I still suffer from this day. Mine is worse then my 74 yr old mums xx
Thank you for sharing this info. I'm dealing with leakage too and this video really help. Will try to do the pelvic floor exercise like you've mention. Hope it works for me
Thank you for sharing your story. I’ve had two baby’s and it was during the second when I started having problems with leaks and frequency but didn’t bring it up to my obgyn until this past month, my youngest is 4!!! I just thought leakage was a part of what happens after having multiple kids. I’m in the US and my obgyn just pointed me in the direction of a urogynecologist to see if I either need physical therapy for my pelvic floor or some further intervention. I’m excited to check out these videos and try to get my pelvic floor back a more natural way.

Omg you have scared me into pelvic floor exercises. I’m 19 and I have the exact same things (leaking, etc). Why so young 🥺😣

Lucy and Lolly, maybe because you girls are getting pounded so hard by many that you've lost control over that thing?
