I agree, I really like Halo 4. I feel like the un reactive promethean ai can make you feel the same tiredness as chief, like nothing you do matters. In all the other games chief had all the power in the world and ended up saving the world completely, therefore he had control over the battlefield, enemies reacted to you. But in 4, there's nothing chief can do for cortana, so it reflects onto the gameplay I that his choices matter less. I think I phrased this clunkily but I hope you get my point, chiefs agency reflects your agency. I think it helps me connect to him more. But I still thought the gameplay was pretty fun and i really like the multiplayer.
