i was watching a video on Michael Sabo he was saying something about his 4trax 250r kicking back hard and he said it was something do with timing and he said he fix it and don't kick bad hard anymore
Yeah or timing off cdi or carb issues. Its sold now tho

My cousin had a 1986 4trax 250r his dad buy for him brand new in 1986 i think it was little over $2000 back then .i think his was doing something in 1988 after a motor rebuild . tell you what i do missed that 2 stroke motor smell and had some real good memory's back in mid 80's and 90's but now everything is 4 stroke now unless you are buying a snowmobile

Hey i have been trying to get my 86 Honda 250r trx running but it’s like it floods and I can only keep it running by me keeping on the throttle and after that I can’t start it til it gets cold and if I do have it running is spits and sputters it’s not the reeds iv check those already my only guess is the carb think you could help me out?
Carb or big air leak. Have ya done a leakdown test ?
