Right?! But there are some states that mandate an attendant fill your car. Some states/areas allow the fuel nozzle to run hands free until the auto-shutoff kicks in and other areas don't have that feature. It is weird. Personally, I have no problem with self serve as that is when I clean my car out of trash and wipe windows down.
I use one on every fuel up, it works every time , it’s a little more expensive, I go in, buy two coffees, pay for the fuel, I come out , get ready to go , hand the other coffee to my wife, it works time in and time again. Always a good outcome, it’s very efficient.

You have to wait for trade winds to blow your way. Good if you are only planning to 'sail' to a destination and come back 6 months later when the wind shifts.
I doubt many owners of sea going vessels are going to want their crew handling kites/spinnakers en route since most ships have skeleton crews as it is.
How much does 1 box stacker machine cost? How long does it take to pay for it's self? Break downs/repairs? Electricity used? All this equaled to unemployment benefits or Gov't payments to non workers like the Covid payments? Keep people working! My 2 pennies.

That Auto Fuel is almost a full service fuel station, All they need to add is a robotic window cleaner. That expanding clothes for little kids, I see why they make it stop at 4 years of age, because you send a kid to school wearing that sort of thing, they're going to get made fun of.
Can't help but notice that some of these inventions are designed to reduce the number of people needed to perform certain tasks. With a growing population, what is the outlook for the labor market. If robots replace human labor, how will people make a living?
Wouldn't the inflatable flow stop thing just float away? It is filled with air after all. Or does it kinda lock into the door frame when it expands? Or have weights in the bottom of it? Be good if they explained how some of the things worked a bit more. 🤷♂
Whoever invented the kid's clothing that can be used for 3-4 years... lol... doesn't have kids. Tears, stains, and wearing them out is what kids do. I'd be surprised if it lasted 1 year.
How does using steam to propel a rocket more climate friendly than rocket fuel? You have to make that steam with something and solar isn't always at peak convenience.
Working at ups for years the package machine is not functional for mass production. Our loaders do over a thousand packages in 30 min. And packages are not of similar size.
The robot loading machine is cool.. but not really useful when you realize that in MOST warehouse and shipping , boxes are RARELY uniform width like that. Granted, that is something you can pretty easily build a machine to work around. Spring loaded rollers with a wider path for the boxes would do the trick. You'd of course need to program the robot to stack boxes according to size. And since you're doing that, you might has well build a sorting robot the loads the conveyor robot. Since you're doing that, you might as well rebuilt the conveyor robot to have adjustable side panels that the robot adjusts based on a visual scan of the boxes. .. and that would be better because less moving parts (not having spring rollers) means less things to break.

America is an energy hog; the average annual electricity consumption for a U.S. residential utility customer is 10,632 kWh. So in the US, you'd need at least five of those to run your home.
