While true in some sense, that's what all MMOs are, right? Get gear to harder content? Just in this game, the harder content is usually grind zones, but they have mechanics that make them not as mind-numbing. There's not just PvE grinding though, you got three, 5 man dungeons with Normal and Elvia mode (Hardmode), you got Boss Blitz which have leaderboards and are quite fun, and you have PvP, both capped and uncapped. The PvP in particular is pretty diverse, you got AoS, Guild League 15v15, you got War of the Roses, a 300v300, you got NW wars, and you got sieges.

Maybe it's just asian, and I got used to european mmos like GW2 (btw best mmo ever, interactive events on map, jump puzzles, air puzzles, exploration, and a lot of other forms of activity and players interaction on maps), I love bdo potential(omg it's something 11/10), but no place to use it. But as I said have only low lvl char, so no dungeons and pvp tried, I'll give it a shot, thank you a lot, got aim to try now!
was it hard to grind ash forest with that dp? im at the same point but with away weaker class (maehwa)
if you are awekening maehwa yes you can. but i am not sure about succ maehwa she is lacking fg skills. make sure you run 2 knockdown resist crystals .
