As a certified dutch person I would like to provide the entirety of the dutch anthem that is sung during the ceremony. First in Old Dutch (which is not sung by the common folk), second in New Dutch (meaning since 1900), after that in English as it is translated in the video with some remarks to our own history. That is the anthem in old Dutch which is not spoken anymore. Here it is in new Dutch (version you should learn if you want to sing with us) Wilhelmus van Nassouwe ben ik, van Duitsen bloed, den vaderland getrouwe blijf ik tot in den dood. Een Prinse van Oranje ben ik, vrij, onverveerd, den Koning van Hispanje heb ik altijd geëerd. That is the anthem in New Dutch, spoken by everyone in the Netherlands. Now for the english translation with remarks. William of Nassau, (refering to where William ruled, back then known as Nassau-Dillenburg) Am I, of Dutch blood (The translation here is wrong, it actually is german blood as Willem van Oranje, the person this anthem has been written for, was born in Germany. Also Duitsen in english= German) Loyal to the fatherland, I will remain untill I die (He did.) A prince of Orange (Orange being a title he got passed on) am I, free and fearless. The king of Spain, I have always honoured. (As we honoured him, but due to bad treatment we decided to form our own nation)
