It looks like an incredible quality film with a strong edit and a characterful cast. As far as The female stars opinion of Patrizia… well it’s terribly sympathetic and that often happens when one plays a role. Indeed when people have or develop a personality disorder(s) they become neurotic and fixate on something. For many it’s money. The other fixations come in , jealousy , sexual obsessions, manipulation, serial adultery and addictions like booze drugs and gambling being the most typical. These are alongside with many other behavioral presentations of bulimia, depression, anxiety, mania, violence, disassociation. Of course a family like Gucci would not accept her as some kind of “colleague”. She did not have the education nor the background. And even if she did, she was not a colleague. She was the wife of a son who was in a legal battle over corporate control of the family biz. Many, many people with such rejections when marrying into a top tier families that are clannish “lose their minds” but they don’t go out and hire a hit man to gain dominion and bump off their hubby. There was a condition there prior to the anguish she clearly went through with the Gucci family via her marriage to Maurizio. It may have been Narcissistic personality disorder with a development of sociopathy. Many people who come from poverty and horror show families who are often very attractive can develop that cluster. Especially when money enters the picture and it usually does as they tend to surround themselves with the possibility of power.

What an excellent promoter for this film. You always see people on talk shows plugging their work but she actually makes me want to see the movie. Just seeing the clips it looks like she really nailed this role.
There's Lady Gaga before and after. That is, before she proved herself as a legit artiste (namely in "A Star Is Born") I couldn't care less about her. In fact, her so-called presence as an artiste were just mockery with her songs and that particular meat dress she wore one time. But after "A Star Is Born", I respect her immensely and that's when I really began to take her seriously. She's arrived.
gaga pre ASIB was not a mockery at all and the meat dress was not mockery either, she wore to protest against the law "Don't ask don't tell" that prohibited LGBT people to come out and be in the military, she brought discharged soldiers to the event and they sit with her, if you're willing to die for you country, what does it matter how you identify? dead meat is dead meat no matter what, we all die the same. The meat dress is a piece of art, it belong in a museum and it is actually preserved in a museum currently. I recommend you to watch her vogue interview, it is very insightful.
I don't agree with Gaga on the way she speaks of Reggiani...why is it embarrassing for a woman to want more power or to matter? She's been in the same position trying to prove herself as a musician. I don't agree with how she puts her down because she does. I don't feel like she's supporting women when she puts Reggiani down, doesn't matter if Reggiani deserves it or not it comes off as she's not capable of understanding Reggianis side of the story.
I really loved listening to her talking about the movie and her relationship with her fellow actors. Lady Gaga is truly intelligent, sensitive woman and a great artist.
