It is really important to remember that the ceremony is not about the officiant or their opinions. Write the script and have the couple approve the language being used - Never go Off Script! No off the cuff remarks, no ‘surprises’ for the couple.
Is there any precedent for having the couple and witnesses to sign the wedding papers before they go down the aisle, while some music is playing? Before their Kiss and Recessional? Or do you just get them after their pictures are completed after al that has already happened?
After getting ordained which you can do here: www.ulc.org/ you may need to obtain documentation proving you are a licensed marriage officiant. These policies vary by state, and county or parish.
