I bought my Corolla new in 2003. It still has the original fuel pump, water pump, alternator, and A/C compressor at 272K miles. I wish my 2016 Camry V6 was built so well.
Between my mom sister and myself we have owned 6 Camrys and 2 Corollas in the last 13 years and while there have been some minor issues, they are still way more reliable than anything else we’ve ever had
Very true, every car manufacturer's products have problems it's only some have more than others. Toyota is still very good overall and above average as far as reliability and durability goes when compared with many other makes such as Japanese Mistubishi or Nissan or even many European makes like Mercedes, BMW, Renault, Citroen and Peugeot.
Kilmer is bias against American cars. Ex: 1 vid he complains GM put the AC coil behind the dash. Then, another Toyota mechanic shows a video of the AC coil leaking and he had to remove the WHOLE DASHBOARD to get to it.
There's no question ford, gm and stallantis are top 3 for recalls. You also find alot more clapped out American cars on the used market most are not worth owning after 150,000 miles. Chevy and Ford have struggled to build reliable, competitive small cars and suvs. After 2005 American trucks and suvs started falling in quality. Its just gotten worse and worse. Ford and chevy even gave up on sedans altogether

sorry guys but this video sounds so fake, good info but way to staged sounding.
Hopefully, we will improve it over time.
@GearSpan this podcast really AI?
@@gary_beniford Yes it is completely generated by ai.
Oh yes they are. As a Chrysler, GM, Volkswagen, Honda, and finally and currently, a Toyota owner, they absolutely are.
Finish your sentences much? Very annoying can't listen to that. Also sounds disingenuous.
This an entirety google ai generated podcast 😂
