As a veteran you do not understand the stress deployments put on families. You are trained to do a job and when the mission comes you do exactly that. But the families do not understand until they go through it. There is an emotion I cannot describe of holding your kid after not being able to do so for long months. To kiss your significant other, to hold them, to feel that warmth. I know people do an amazing job supporting the troops but never forget about their families. The stress of not knowing is as challenging as the mission itself. Thank you to my brothers and sisters, and thank you to you who support us at what we do.
as someone who has active duty family/veterans, it was always a relief when my uncle came back home. now, my best friends boyfriend just came back from deployment, and i’m currently waiting for my fiancee to come home from being underway. it definitely is stressful. there are people who watch these videos because of how sweet they are, but it’s entirely different watching these videos and going through the exact same thing all of these families are going through. thank you for your service, sir. it doesn’t go unnoticed ❤️

with my 'Aunt- such *Far-Marriage, was usable..that 'Times..(She.. wait's for 'Him -since 1943 - 1955
as so attractive, beautiful Lady- feeling 'Knowing coming 'Back - without Message, Letter or Red-Cross
..He, took 1-Year - Rehabilitation ..- His 'Hate about Sowjet's - returns back 1957 in New 'Bundeswehr-Air-Force.; Never has spoken.. about War..- also Not - my other Uncle's..

HOOAH, BROTHER!!!!! I grew up an Army brat and then joined when I turned 18. I have been on both sides, and it is hard from both ends. The families left behind to hope and pray for their soldier to return safely. And the soldier who made a choice knowing the risks and still scared out of their minds that this could be the last time they ever see their family, and the weight that that burden holds never relents until we step foot on American soil again, knowing you made it home!!!!!!

When my daughter came home from a 9 month deployment. I almost lost my mind when I saw her. It was so good to have her back on American soil. God bless all the soldiers who have come home. And the ones who sacrificed their lives for us. We love all of you.❤❤❤❤❤

My son just surprised me this past Christmas. My daughter hid him in a huge teddy bear and said that his gift for Christmas for me was delivered and it was she put it in our garage. When I went to touch the bear, he jumped out and scared me so bad. Then I cried so hard. He asked me if I was crying because he scared me or because I was happy he was home. I'm so proud of the young man My son has become. He is hero

Years ago, there was one soldier reunion video that really touched my heart and made me giggle.
It featured two lil' girls hugging their daddy together, after he came home. Then, as the video reached the end, one of them said "come to my birthday party"

I love these videos! My dad served 22yrs in the Navy and I remember those months of him being gone and going to the naval base searching the crowd for my daddy’s face or a stature that even looked like him! He passed 12/25/2020. I wish these last 3yrs were just a deployment 😔. Miss you dad 🥰

Nice to see..I am a Navy veteran 82 to 88 and when I came home from my first west pac on the USS Ranger CV-61 with VS-33 I came home to a stranger , my wife who cheated on me the whole time I was gone and my world fell apart so a divorce and single and a girl in every port like it should be..getting married in the military is the wrong thing to do so stay single.
I will go to my grave regretting not serving my country‼️💯
