I really like Clutch! I think he makes a good villain and im excited to see him return to a main role in the plot! On the topic of the other 5 people Knuckles trusts I think Sonic is included! Though not always seeing eye to eye Sonic and Knuckles still care about each other and are good friends. So I think Sonic definitely one of them. Tails is also most likely one of the ones trusted and the chaotics too like you said! ( Charmy might not as though hes got a good heart hes a bit young) I think Blaze and Sliver could fit, as Blaze and Knuckles get along and Sliver was a part of the resistance!

Soooo, about Amy's suggestion on getting more Restorarion members to guard the Master Emerald. I wonder if this is a potential plan by the writiers to get Knuckles to appear more often in the comics. Its good that he is being more consistant with his guardian duties. But it came at the cost of him rarely showing up much during arcs. If he can learn to trust others with his job (which is a VERY tall order), we could get more Knuckles content down the road.

I definitely feel Vector and Espio are on Knuckles' "To Trust" list, and while he doesn't have too many strong interactions with Tails in the games or comics he does see the fox as reliable and a trustworthy companion. I would say Sonic is the fourth person on that list, because despite the rivalry between the Blue Blur and the Red Smasher, the two are close friends (as seen in the amazing Sonic and Knuckles cutscenes in Frontiers). As for the last one, I could see either Silver or Blaze.

While _Age is a definite factor for Charmy and Cream,_ I think the only thing keeping him from entrusting Tails with the Island are *his Memories of how Tails handled the Loss of Sonic...* As for Substitutes, *Blaze's* ability to Relate with Knuckles' Responsibilities allowed the two to form a Friendship much quicker than he'd usually have _with Anyone,_ and she's proven herself more than capable of handling the task if it were necessary.
