Focusing in Adoration is certainly a challenge, but it does get easier with practice. Excellent video.

Imagine if we really ARE able to steal this... it would probably ALWAYS have the "stolen" icon on it, as it'll never be forgotten... but it would of course still be VERY valuable.

I had the pleasure to see it on display in the church during a visit to Kutna Hora last september, I had no idea only a handful of medieval monstrances still exist, i always assumed there must be hundreds of them.

As one person here already pointed out, I may have said it more generally, than it was. It should have been "10 gothic style monstrances" (maybe even "of the tower type"). There are also some preserved till today from the previous period (Romanesque).
I just took this information from our parish website and retold it wrongly. Sorry about that.
But anyway, it would still be "handful" and not "hundreds". :)
      Enjoy the game tomorrow! :)

@@Kuttenberger_Martin It's not like there is a complete list of gothic monstrances anyway, I've seen mentions of anywhere between 2 and 4 such objects in Poland.

Here is a list of oldest notable monstrances in Europe:
Monstrance of the Holy Cross (Wrocław, Poland) - 13th century
Monstrance of St. Oswald (Worcester, England) - 13th century
Monstrance of the Holy Sacrament (St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague, Czech Republic) - 14th century
Sedlec Monstrance (Sedlec, Czech Republic) - circa 1390
Monstrance of the Blessed Sacrament (Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Wrocław, Poland) - 15th century
Monstrance of the Holy Sacrament (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Florence, Italy) - 16th century
So Sedlec Monstrance is in top 4 oldest in Europe!

You are welcome! And if you still find some time, it will be awesome to hear about that Mining code I asked you about before. But I'm sure you are a bussy man. It's just everyone says it's very complex, but I don't hear anything about it, not even essentials. Just basics would do fine.
Nontheless have a nice evening, your videos are great. :)

Thanks! Well, we had a full episode of podcast in czech with my father about the Ius Regale Montanorum (he also published that two decades ago).
I remember you asked about that but your question was more about every day live of a miner, right?
And I can't tell much about that. This mining law is mostly about other things. But if you are interested what that is about, I would love to make some episode just about the mining law.
But that would be just for some hardcore economical history enthusiasts, because it's mostly about this capitalist allocations of investments and risks and so on...
But it could be MAYBE possible to find "between the lines" something about everyday life. :)
But I'm not promising anything... :)

Má to neskutečný detail.
