- The Pro isn't the top model in the Motorola Edge lineup this time around, but it nicely slots in below flagship territory. It offers a very capable camera setup for stills with a main camera that's a champion at light gathering, a 3x zoom camera in a segment where dedicated zoom cameras are rare and an ultrawide that's got autofocus and puts it to good use. And then it tops it all off with some excellent selfies for good measure. This is a pretty great midrange phone tbh. Offering more than what most people need, and I especially love the fast charging. Can't wait for the Ultra!

They should've used the 7+ Gen 3 which has the latest generative AI support which is the only reason to even upgrade from last year's phones. Other companies did it for their mid-range phones, or at least used the Dimensity 8300 Ultra. Motorola dropped the ball in my opinion.

Bought this for my girlfriend, pretty good phone allaround, the camera image processing takes a few seconds. apart from that everything looks good. display is top notch. she's loving it.😅
Does the phone comes with 5G option in the network selection?
It seems the best combination of the camera system in a mid-range phone so far.
I think the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (man, Qualcomm really destroyed their naming scheme again at this point) might have been a better choice over the "normal" 7, as it is manufactured by TSMC and therefore more efficient. Otherwise I would have preferred a larger battery. Sadly, the ultra model also limits itself to 4500 mAh. Still looking forward to that one, as Moto seems to have done a really good job on the cameras.
The normal 7 Gen 3 is made by TSMC as well
Just got the budget Moto G34 for my mom and she is totally loving it. Except for the 720p dsiplay, Phone is really good for the value. SD695, Android 14 and Dolby Atmos support.
Is this available in the US, their site has old models from last year.

Umm, did I miss the portion where you tested the call quality or do you guys dont do this any longer?
It has UFS 2.2 BUT IT'S PERFORMANCE IS AT PAR WITH THE UFS 3.1 IN THE PREVIOUS GENERATION. THE READ AND WRITE SPEEDS DOES NOT GET AFFECTED.

Wish they were still making flagship killers. 6.7 inch+ 1440/1220p 120hz 700+/1400+nits m/a brightness and SD 8sg3. I assume no one will buy their 50 ultra. They can try again next year with the same display but SD 8g4, midrange camers and pricing and 4+5 yeras of updats. Then we're talking

Just 72mm wide for a 6.7 inch screen, but still a normal 20:9 aspect ratio? That alone is a bit of a packaging breakthrough tbh, usually 6.7 inch phones are at least 74mm wide
For me any android phone company has to offer some sort of personality to their ui without being tacky. That's why I personally think nothing phone 2a is a good phone to get in the sea of boring and goofy looking android phones. Motorola is doing a great job with their ui. I personally use a pixel 6 pro, yes I solely use this for the pixel experience and as I really wanted to use an Android. And here I saw some changes that motorola made with their hello os which would actually elevate the stock android experience. Now if they just figure out a good way to do their camera bumps on the back that would make them nearly perfect.
Not a bad midranger, but doesn't really stand out from others around the same price. The pictures from the cameras are surprisingly good, but it's really let down by the video which has horrible, oversaturated colours, especially the greens

Been trying to buy this MFing phone off of ebay. THREE different Indian sellers who claimed to have it in stock, then emailed me AFTER I bought it and told me they were out of it! Like WTF! Why are they listing a phone they don't have!?

Again, why do manual brightness only go to 500 manually and auto 1300?
Because have it at 1300 all the time and your screen will be full of burn ins 2 months later, this is the case for any OLED, which is why almost any (AM)OLED screen peaks at around 500 to prevent display burn in from happening.
It will only burst to high brightness in Automatic to make sure it won't damage the screen too much doing so.
@@fa14bi-78 No one would use 1300 all the time, if I go outside I would put in on while I use the phone and lower it when I don't/ go inside. I can barely see my screen now and it could go higher, but I'm capped..

You don't want to hear anything but superlatives as first impression on main camera for this price. Sadly, not the case.
Since they didn't use the 7+ Gen 3 which is way ahead of the 7 Gen 3 then this phone is DOA. It's crap unfortunately. The Ultra model is the only option. It's beyond frustrating when these companies just get it wrong over and over again. It's almost like they don't want to sell this phone and want to make sure you'll buy the more expensive one.

Go watch Tech Spurt review. He claims it chews through battery & especially fast during gaming & taking photos.
He had only 8% left by 5pm & estimates 5-6hrs SOT so not an all day on a single charge kinda phone.
However he did say 125W super fast charging significantly makes up for it & hopefully battery life will be improved via future updates.

After 1 week of use of moto..
Cons-
1. Too much heating just after 10 minutes of use.. side me metal frame hai isliye Syd aur jyada heat pta chl rha.
2. When you play 4k video in full screen you see screen defect, just above the camera notch ek alag trah ki light aati hai upar se, maybe it's manufacturing defect. I complained but no response as expected.
3. Battery to din me 2 baar charge karni pdti hai.
4. Phone thoda jarurat se jyada lamba hai to if you have small hands to hath me balanced feel nhi hoga.
5. Phone lag rha hai.. screen freez kr rhi hai.. sometimes no response to any touch.
6. Apps crash kr rhe hai , 1 week me 4-6 baar ho chuka hai.
7. Screen protector is of cheap quality aur pre-applied bhi nhi hai.
8. 5g to 4g switch kr ja rha hai khud se aur fir jaldi 5g me change bhi nhi ho rha
9. Haptics are very normal
10. UA-cam ke highest quality pr frame drop hota hai.. vo sirf kaam ka support krta hai
Pros- camera is good, screen quality is jabardast, sound b bdhiya hai.
Quick charging, even you can have good gaming.. I installed 30 GB game and it's running nicely.. I'm not a gamer.

Everythint's great, but why does it have to look so ugly? The camera islans being this buldge jutting from the side of the device looks so horrible. Its what keeps me from buying it, and why i went with S23 FE.
Hahaaa curved screen 😅 Moto is very damm company they never learn or go for any improvement with their devices. Their sell margins are very low becase of thier stupidly desigs and marketing. I think Motorolas headquarters wouldn't have an idea how many Moto phone versions outhere 😅😅
