I live on the coast in eastern North Carolina and bull sharks are the species that scare me. One of my sons surfs and got bumped really hard a few months ago. He was trying out his friends long board and thankfully that board helped protect him when the bull came around again and he was yelling to his friends to catch a wave in asap.
Bull sharks peacefully coexist with humans you said? I'll tell that to a fellow Australian who lost both legs to one of these "peaceful coexisting sharks". Maybe you could come to Australia and test this peaceful coexistence" you speak of, I know some great inlet areas in the top half of Australia which has many Bullies, from small to huge
Thank you for the feedback, I fully understand where you are coming from. Please note that the "peaceful coexistence" in the video refers to the Seal Rocks, NSW area only. Bull Sharks are known to be there, and those locals who I spoke with confirm that. Yet there has been no accident as of the time of publishing the video. I believe that the unfortunate incident you refer to happenned in Sydney, which can be considered a different habitat (different ratio of human population to natural food resources for sharks). There is no a single doubt that bull sharks can be aggressive and are dangerous. We should not interact with them under no circumstances. Hope this helps in understnading better the message in the video. (BTW, I am Sydney based:)
thank you, yes, there is something scary in them, especially when you see them that close to the shore. On the other side, they are just being themselves :))
Nice video, great spot at seal rocks, would not surprise me that the sharks are nice and happy there,
thank you for the feedback! Plenty of fish there, the water is stunning, If I were a shark I would be super happy there!! :))
