I lost my mum 8 years ago. Whenever i hear this song, i canthelp thinking what it would be like if she was her. 2 kids later. She would have loved them! The pain never goes away! Sometimes i sit at night and wish i could trade my soul for another second with her. Song hits like a tonne of bricks dude!
They did a great job of portraying life after. Sometimes life is just like dream walking, it feels like your there and then your heart stops, your falling, you get your breath back and then your back in your life doing every day things and life is just going along for everyone around you... And I know I'm not 1/2 the man she wanted me to be. She wanted me to move on so I wouldn't be alone and the last thing I whispered in her ear was it's OK you can go, we'll be OK.. And she was gone. I knew I was lying when I said it and that haunts me still almost 9 years later. Thanks for this song brother. ❤

It is often said that death is a part of life...
We see it as the end of a story, the finale of sorts for a protagonist.
However, a question infrequently asked by a few is what the other characters in the story are supposed to do after, having not been given the same opportunities to end their own special story yet...?
It may feel as though they have no meaning anymore and are unable to cope with a perceived ill-fitting conclusion...
In other words; "It wasn't supposed to happen this way..."
