Thank you for having this in UA-cam Yoichiro, it was this music Joni James, my mom's favorite remembering these album reminds me of good and loving memories of my mother gave to us, the sacrifice she had given to us to our family praying for her everyday and also for my father.
Joni James, the Voice that captures Your heart ❤. One Can never have more than one favorite, and Joni James is truly mine. Yes, i have many Singers I do 💘 Joni is my favorite Since i first get her In high-school. In 55. You will 💘 Her too. Thank you for Sharing.
In 1952 my husband ( boyfriend then) always loved all her songs but the one i played alot at the time he was in the service was; Love Letter straight from your heart;
When i was in the British Army in Tripoli 1956 used to listen to the American air base radio station KVOH it played a lot of Joni James just loved her voice.
As a young Airman stationed at Travis AFB in 1953 I first listened to Joni. I have never tied of listening to her. Such a lovely voice and presentation. In the years that followed, she sang each and every song, just for me!
The same here. I was stationed in France in 1956 when I bought this same album. I played it every chance I had and to this day, her singing stays with me.
Saw Joni in a theater in Chicago about 1954. A Navy buddy who loved her took me there. She let us backstage and autographed inside our sailor hats. Didn't know how famous she would be. Great gal. Sang "In a Garden of Roses".
Joni James, my Favorite singer of all time. First heard Joni in about 1953, In high school. The voice is very Beautiful, tender. There are many Great singers I Enjoy, but my favorite is Joni James. Thank you, Joni.
Tender, sung from a cute sweetheart, just a sweet sweet person,naughty but so cheeky yet will pay your bus fare first for you, which actually happened to me,in 1960, ,a girl from next door,the next door girls'school, a time lost only to your deepest sadly romantic memories..in those days when you were so shy and quiet..
Lovely old songs.. brought me smack bang into the old romantic periods.. when i was young.. with an old love.. first love.. and all the young romantic things we did..love was like being so warm,hot yet innocent., almost with only limited funds...we walked or took buses,rode on bicycles..i recall visiting her home for a week in sg lembing...near kuantan...now im old dr...and she is a retired nurse although she married another cancer dr in Australia...we parted after writing letters for three years...love can't survive not seeing each other for three years...yet my memories are still crystal clear.
The softest, soo Tender, magical ✨ 💖 absolutely 💯 love from the heart, to all of her fans whom love her too ❤ 💕 💖 thanks Joni James, you're wonderful, treasure ❤ 💖 ♥ 💙 💕
Yes..that's the word,dear , otherworldly..yet warm and lovely that brings your youthful romantic memories zooming back from 60 years ago when you were young certainly not so wise and rather hardened by this world..something in her special voice....like she said in her interview..the song producer wanted her voice,her....No no not those big blondes...that one..That short dark one....with the million dollar charm in her voice..that will sell all our records..
Now she is an angel...she was quite a sincere, religious person. in the best sense of the word. And this sincerity is reflected in her very feminine, easy-flowing style of singing...she came from a large Italian family, and so wanted to have children, but could not have her own...so she adopted and became a great mother to those two children. She was just a high-quality person, in an industry full of lesser types!
If I remember correctly, Joni James had no real Training, had been Blessed with the Special voice. Thanks to God, she Shared with people That heard and loved here. Thanks for sharing, We love Joni James, Thank you editorial genius too.

I spoke with Joni on the phone a few months before her passing. She may have left us, but she will always be in my memory and heart. I will miss her till the day that I pass. RIP Joni. I love you.
