- As requested here’s me rambling on about my set up of the new Carisma Scale Adventure Range Rover that I used to win class one at the 2021 UK Scaler Nationals earlier this year.

You can get parts from Carisma direct website mate, the folding mirrors are just a mod, there’s a video on my channel somewhere that shows you how, look out for the blue pick up truck on the thumbnail.

Just ordered this kit. I have a transmitter and receiver already, but obviously need to buy motor, pinion, esc, and servo. Most forums I've searched come to a typical conclusion and suggest I need the best, strongest most expensive parts.
What do I actually need?
Sorry for delay and probably too late for you now, but there’s options for most budgets and requirements, I run Carisma esc and brushed motor which is about £50ish and then Spektrum radio gear which is more but works well for me

Great information about the wheels and archers, something to bear in mind if and when upgrading. It would be great if you could do a video about the body as that is the most daunting task when painting your first lexan body, is all the body painted from the inside, including the black around the windows, as it looks matte black and overlaps like rubber as it should do, especially at the tops of the back window? Are your lights tinted from the inside? I'm looking forward to getting one of these kits, my first rc crawler, for xmas together with a few upgrades. I am planning on putting on a rear wiper, rear handle and filler cap to balance out the detail with the supplied front pieces, no idea how yet.
Hi mate, happy to do a vid talking about the body, painting and details etc, the main advice I can give you though is to take your time.
