Awwwh, you are so sweet and appreciative. This place looks just like where I live. It gets boring after a while and owning property can be expensive with upkeep.
You are right, maintenance could be very expensive.

The 'new' airport looks nice. I read that it suffered from bad water leaks & flooding after it opened.
You should have seen the old airport as it was more of a representation of a true island vibe. The flooding before was caused by the drain pump & heavy rain out pour.

Cayman is SO expensive. The cost of lunch was ridiculous. 😮
Well, what can you expect everything here is almost imported 😉 so the freight, custom duty & handling all add up to the cost of commodities. Nevertheless, there are more things to love here really. It is peaceful, generally safe & the people are respectful.
What are the steps you had to do before boarding the airline? did you have to do a covid test and what was the cost?
Hello! We are fully vaccinated so we just brought our vaccination card. No need for LFT or PCR test if you are fully vaccinated.
