Deke Sharon and the YCF Chorus - Summertime

A long time veteran of BHS conventions turned to a colleague and said "This might be the coolest thing I've ever seen on stage." And, quite frankly, that says it all. Junior high, high school, and college kids from all around the world backed up Deke Sharon on "Summertime" at the 2016 Midwinter convention in Reno, Nevada.

soundcheck that day was amazing too, they got a bit frisky and started chanting "Northern Maine summertime" near the end lol

If I was one of those kids I would have been upset to sing mostly "sound effect" backups to someone who is already well-known. The kids came to sing, not hear Deke "do his thing."
