Pretty Little Liars debuted in June 2010, and despite the show’s penchant for far-fetched scenarios and unlikable characters, PLL gained a massive fanbase. So, when it was announced that Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and his co-writer on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Lindsay Calhoon Bring, were developing a reimagining or reboot, everyone had their doubts. Aside from the common “Hollywood is out of original ideas” reaction, diehard fans didn’t want a show without the OG Liars. But when Max’s Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin arrived in 2022, it was a surprising success, and people wanted more.

After just two episodes, I think season 2 has better flow and a more cohesive writing compared to season 1. Not to mention the acting improved a lot by showing a more authentic chemistry that the girls already have. I like that the creators are showing that they listened to some of the criticism from s1.
I feel like the first season was still more thrilling and darker, but I’ve liked this one so far!
Season 2 is already sooo much better. Original Sin had a bit of a rocky start. Summer School has better acting, character dynamics and overall setting! I’m excited for the rest of S2 and I reallyyyy hope they get renewed for more. 👏

Riverdale had a good first season too and we all know how that turned out...
alot of people thought it was fun
honestly i respect them for being as ambitious and as creative as they wanted and not giving a shit what people thought it was definitely a unique show that's for sure and sometimes creatvity is the more important thing
It was based off comics where all that stuff happened in. Like bruh just say you’re not a fan of the comics. And this second season is even better than the first of PLL: Summer School
Riverdale was entertaining up to its final season. Insane and terrible, but entertaining. I need another show like that! 🤷♂️

Sort of reminds me of a VC Andrews book series. Some of them were entertaining, but others were going to crazy. This seems like a mix of them. Good but with questionable choices.

I enjoy it it’s actually creepier than the original
I’ll probably watch s2 through multiple airplane rides liked I did with S1 this summer it’s okay so far but I don’t trust the screen writer cause the end of Riverdale made even the bad seasons of Ppl look like a masterpiece

Nah the reboot is better but both are worth watching. The reboot sets the tone of the books like did you not read the books? It was pretty gory.
