I am watching my first video here in Claremont ,North Carolina. Ultimately, I will take this learning to DRC when peace will subsidize. At one point, I will be your student. I am determined to implement it. Thank you very much, Lartman Farm
I am excited watching this episode. I have been thinking of starting a catfish farm. I have gotten one tank already. I am learning so much on this channel and ready to start. Thank you
Lartman please what about borehole water without treatment can it be suitable for the fish or because the water is salty I need to treat it before using it
In a balanced system yea, but from what I learned from my aquaponic systems is they would need about 4 times that water as a planter bed which mean 4 times more yard is needed. It takes a week or 2 with a large healthy bacteria pit for the ammonia to turn nitrites and then finally the good stuff, nitrates to feed plants. I think that water would burn stuff unless it sat for a bit to convert over
You're doing a great job there am just watching this video now and heard that you guys wants to set up 100 fish ponds. That's awesome am planning to start mine asap and am in Lome-Togo so can we connect

Weldon Lartman nice job watching from Nigeria. My farm is having issues please how can I contact u pple? I need help have tried all I could but are still dying
Thank you for this priceless insight, brother. My question is, how should one go about changing the water in a 1sqm. small container if you’re not running pipes? Because you mentioned before to leave the water standing 4-5 days, so how is it possible to flush out the old water, then replace it with fresh water from the tap, if the tap water hasn't had a chance to stand... but at the same time, you can't leave the fish without any water. And if you only have one tub/container, what are you supposed to do? Or do you need to have 2 containers, 1 one standby with water to transfer the fish to, then transfer back to the other container afterwards? Also, how long can you keep the first 100 fish in the tubs before they outgrow them or even start fighting and kill each other? In which case, what should you do with them? Because I'm sure they would still be too small to sell for a profit... I'm sorry for all the questions but I'm very curious and hope you get the time to respond 🙏🏾
Good job bro.. I've finish building my concrete pond in madina and am in a process of sterilisation. Can my farm be part of the 1,000 catfish farms, or am too late.. I started this farm because of this channel..
Very educative. My fishes are not growing after six months. Most of them weigh between 400 and 800kg. What can I do now to speed their growth to 1kg and above.

All that fish poop is fertilizer... If you filter the water through a hydroponics setup you can grow many many tomatoes or whatever else.
In a balanced system yea, but from what I learned from my aquaponic systems is they would need about 4 times that water as a planter bed which mean 4 times more yard is needed.
