Is the sim free? also does the e visa cost anything?
Ysss it is free. No cost for this
It’s all a load of bullshit this free transit stay, emirates will try its level best not to let you avail this.
No 1. There are no clear indications which ticket has a free layover and which does not. Most if not all economy tickets will not be applicable for the layover
No 2. Unless you have a layover of 10 hours or more and emirates doesn’t have a faster connect available only then will this be accepted. There is no limitation on when the faster connect should be available. I’ve seen cases where emirates has declined to offer this service claiming there is another flight which is 8 hours earlier or even if there is a faster connect the next calendar day they have disagreed to honour this.
No 3. It takes a long long time to avail this and now the free transit visa is also not available, so you have to pay for it.
All in all it is a total scam by Emirates

If on same day shortest layover flight is available and u choose longest layover flight just to avail dubai connect . This is not applicable For that…Emirates Customer supports told us that. thanks For your comment 🙏🏻

We have 11 hours layover at Dubai airport and our agent has said that we are eligible for Dubai Connect.
Please advise how to pre book or apply for online Visa of dubai.
Me and my wife are senior citizen aged 66 & 63. We are Green Card holders of the USA and we hold Indian passports.

To get Evisa you need to mail certain documents to Dubaiconnect@emirates.com just like:
Your passport
Your passport size photograph
Name of passanger
Ticket number
Booking reference
If you are 2 Candidate then send this details separately…

Did you collect checkin bags before going to Dubai connect hotel and check in again for connection flight ? And do we need to show credit card at complementary hotel in Dubai?
Hello , No we did not collect any checkin Bags We only had cabin bags With us.

if Short time layover flight is available and u do not book it and book another flight then they will not provide hotel for that..
I think You have to contact Emirates Customer support again and tell all d details and if not gonnna work…just email to www.emirates.com about it..
