Glad to see this series is back, absolutely love it. Got to come to a Worthing FC game Smiv, one of the highest attendances in the league. Over a thousand at the last home game, second in the league and pushing for promotion this year.

When assessing the atmosphere I feel you need to remember the level of football. For a step 6 game you’re normally lucky to find 10 old men watching, so to see this crowd was amazing. Great video nonetheless!
Of course but atmosphere isn’t the based on the amount of people, it’s the atmosphere those people bring which was zilch 👌🏻

An interesting watch. Hashtag United get a lot of stick but I actually think that even though they're not everyone's cup of tea (and having called my team CSKA Sophia Gardens - a mix of the Sophia Gardens area of Cardiff and the Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia - I certainly would never call it Hashtag!) it can't be argued that Spencer and the other hard workers behind the scenes deserve a lot of credit for what they've done. They're giving non-league football more exposure, being positive influences on UA-cam when others are using it to push their own negative agendas, and showing that if you want to follow a dream then you can. All the best to them with their journey in football and great to see Smiv continuing to deliver another quality OTR even with all the changes going on in his life. Long may this golden era of football on UA-cam continue!

Good idea but Sophia gardens isn't an area in Cardiff?
@@SaviolaIsGod It's a place in Cardiff. The Sport Wales Institute is located there. It encompasses that stretch of land between Pontcanna and the town centre.
Steve Day Sophia gardens is a park which has a sports centre and a cricket ground named after it. Hardly an area. It's not an official area in Cardiff like Canton or Fairwater. Pontcanna also isn't an official area.

Missed this so much
I have been a subscriber for over two years and have seen every "On the Road" ever shown and Smiv was next level on this one. Smiv was really on point as he made me laugh a few times and his machine gun delivery was as good as I have ever seen. How this guy isn't calling premier league games is beyond me. And seriously, any club that doesn't sell Dr. Pepper needs to seriously re-examine their priorities.

Brings back memories. I was bought up locally and walked past this ground on the way to school every morning. Have watched a few games there in my time, but it's been awhile. Nice to see it looking good. I wonder if they still hold the car boot sale/market there anymore?

They are Palmers fans. Palmers played Hashtag a couple of years ago and match had a bitter ending.
Fast forward a few years and it looks like they are still bitter about it especially seeing how far Hashtag had come.
