S&K Theatrical Draperies, Inc. was honored to be chosen to manufacture and install the new altar area church curtains for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church, located in Orangevale, California in the suburbs of Sacramento.
The main curtains feature a custom St. Thomas Cross appliqué that splits open symmetrically as the curtain is retracted to the open position. The custom appliqué was made from polyester Gold Satin IFR fabric.
Additionally, we manufactured custom swag valances to mask the front and backside of the curtain track system.
The front swag valance and the main traveler curtains include gold bullion fringe on the bottom edges.
All curtains were made from polyester Velour Encore 22oz IFR.
This was a challenging project since everything was installed on a bowed ceiling. For that reason, all the swags had to be custom shaped to follow the ceiling arch.
At the time of installation, our crew had to create hang points for the curtain track and valances, making it as clean and least intrusive as possible.
Curtains, track, and labor were covered by our standard 1-year manufacturer warranty.
