@@tkalembat good call out. I did a bunch of kills with both usurpers mandate and testing out sinathia’s set. Wanted to see if the extra tankyness on the mages would have helped them survive the beam if I had sloppy placement. It felt very similar where I wouldn’t bother swapping. All the rest of the gear was the same.
@@pinchingloaf I see. However, I still cannot see what items you are currently wearing in both videos. The 4IP planner is ok as a target but you show how you kill bos and clean 200 coruption. Please show the planner with your current items.
@@tkalembat with my guides I like to give planners showing what is ideal rather than what I have exactly. It’s something that always frustrated me as a newer player not knowing what the actual chase stats would be and just showing what hand me down gear the content creator could get in a few days. I’ll export a planner for you whenever I fully wake up though since you asked.
@@pinchingloaf I play a lot of Necro. And I am terribly frustrated with videos where someone does content without showing the current planner and modifiers of the recorded location. In my opinion, many do this to mislead viewers. I agree with you that the ultimate maximum planner is very important. However, in my opinion, it is necessary to show what items were used during the recording of the movie. I know a lot of players who won't spend a minute on your build after seeing this mega planner. Congratulations on the build idea.
That was one of the best build presentations I’ve seen among a number of content creators. Perfect pace and well-organized. Can’t wait to try this build tomorrow.
I just want to commend you for this build. It's a blast, the best Necromancer build if you want to actually be active and target stuff and be part of the battle but still have a bunch of goobers running around soaking up hits and doing stuff on your behalf. Also I was able to craft my way to like 90% of the ideal build for this, it's not equipment-heavy at all! It's all very doable, with easy affixes and no real "must-haves". I even found a couple of nice rares with a combined total of 25 intelligence and over 150% minion damage that I replaced my (pretty mediocre rolls and no LP) Usurper's Mandate with, and it's going fine. Again, great build, really synergizes tightly and runs well, it's a blast!
This is my favorite LE build ever. I'm actually playing it in 1.0. They reworked the skill so skeletal mage cast profane ablation instead of Sacrifice, but the damage is necrotic. Working pretty well so far (at 170 corruption, but i'm having a hard time getting good gear and blessing, very unlucky drops)
Hey, thank you for the build ! I wanted an active playstyle with my necromancer (fire necromancer was my first char and it became a little bit boring) and i liked detonate dead in POE so this one is perfect !! And as some other comments said, the format of the video is really perfect so thank you for your work, it helps a lot I don't know if you have the time but I would have like to have your opinion on different points of the build mainly the skill trees. I'm sure you've put a lot of thought into it and I don't understand some of the node sometime. Here's a list of my questions : - For summon skeletal mage : Why have you put 2 points into "splintered dominion" ? I think the AoE doesn't apply to sacrifice. Isn't the cast speed from "argonautic speed" more valuable ? (So 1 point into splintered dominion and 3 into argonautic speed) - For summon skeletal mage : Why have you put 2 points into "leech life" ? I saw that the sustain of our mages from other sources are only happening when they crit so I understand this allows leech when they don't crit. Is it mandatory though ? Because we could put these 2 points into argonautic speed again and ossein frenzy. Maybe the 30% health to minion is worth it to you ? - For Dread Shade : The 3 points from flesh harvest seems a little bit unimpactful as our mages have so much leech but there's not many good choice around.. Maybe the mana cost of "wisdom of the dead" ? - For Transplant : This one I think could interest you : the reign of blood and violent emergence line seems also unimpactful to me (maybe it's my playstyle but i don't use transplant agressively but almost only defensively to reposition). So I looked at "Simulacrum" which leaves behind a bone minion and the description reads "bone minions are aditionnal melee skeletal minions". I think they could be used as targets for our mages to cast sacrifice and zombies to be cast from but i'm not sure (not on my pc when i write this down so I couldn't test it) BUT it's still a source of additionnal temporary minions so more defense (through ward generation and health when minion dies). I know it's pin-pointing but I thought it would be interesting to discuss these points here. The different pieces of the build fit very well and i only want to improve it more ! Sorry for the long post and thank you again for your guides !
Yes, build is unchanged! I took a break from the game as the last patch was pretty rough for those of us that mainly do theory crafting haha. I will be back to making content soon though.
first of all, i inform you that i used some translators because i don't know english well why don't you invest in skills when you write sacrifice? is the sacrifice used by skeleton Mage treated as an uninvested skill?
What build guide would you guys like to see me make next?
You present a boss fight with a weapon and a shield that are not in the build. Show the real planner in the items you wear on the boss fight. Please

I’m glad you are liking the build! I put so much time into this one and loved how it turned out. I will def making the 2.0 version next patch!

Hey man, is this 0.8.5 viable? Just coming back, but I'm pretty sure nothing got nerfed, right? Also, why'd you stop making guides? ^^
