Xanax does help a lot of that deal with depression and anxiety. I would like him to get it straight to no promote unprescribed Xanax use.

What about the damage they did for the image of these medications, there are people out there who genuinely need these meds but due to the new federal laws have been taken off them leading to a spike in suicide among those who suffer chronic pain due to a disability, or elderly people battling cancer. They should always be a last resort medication but sadly there are people who are at their last resort they don't abuse them because they know what real pain an other issues are an are aware if they were to abuse them they'd no longer work and those are the people who got punished for this glorification movement they forever impacted those peoples lives causing them pain (death) while the shit they were doing weren't even prescription drugs just pressed pills of China bought drugs.
You are talking about painkiller (opioids) here and not xanax which is an benzos, it's used for anxiety, panic attacks and I agree still agree with ur statement, just wanted to put out that u are thinking of something different

Ya the image they gave the medicine and now demonizing it the way they are is adding double damage to what they have already done. If there going to go preaching then add in there that "some people neeed these meds to function" and it not only hurts people who where abusing the drug but your now hurting people who don't abuse it and use it as prescribed by creating all this stigma around benzos.
