Rodon is looking great 👍
Sure is
Rodon has been a bright spot so far this year. A Cole-Rodon 1-2 could be quite the duo in the playoffs
Back where we belong, on top. Finally the bats get it going. Rodon's been throwing well, love to see what he's been doing lately. And maybe this is the game that gets Gleyber back on track? Hopefully
We will see record book greatness from Rodon during the second half this year.
SOOOO nice to see a good blowout win!!! Plus Rodon and our struggling players getting in the game
Hopefully boys take the series in Milwaukee
I know it’s not easy
Rodon-comeback player of the year
Great Game!
Rodon and Cole are gonna be some 1-2 punch in the playoffs
Great game. Like Verdugo at cleanup. Gleyber looks uncomfortable at the plate.
Update on the Austin Wells xwOBA saga, he has now passed Harper and reached Juan Soto levels
Sure was fun to watch but will they sleepwalk through the next one, do just enough to take the series? Brad has got to get busy
Keep Gil as a starter and keep Clarke in pen until Rodon gets hurt. Big wins and gains in the roster are the time to develop mitigation strategies not the time to relax.
I know that No One wants to say it, but the big toe injury to Aaron
Judge is probably a nagging and significant injury at this point.
Judge is no longer a spring chicken, and is currently 32 years of
age, an age when we can expect to see some decline. Don't get
me wrong. I still think Judge is a a solid .225 hitter this year with
20 -25 home runs. Giancarlo Stanton at age 32 was an All Star
player, albeit with a .211 batting average, with 398 plate appearances,
with 31 homers, 7 doubles, 78 RBI's, and no stolen bases. He only
missed 52 games that year. I think Judge with a bit of luck can
do something similar in his age 32 year. Don't forget, Judge hasn't
been injured yet. Will he miss 52 games this year, or more? With
luck though, Judge could get closer to Stanton in his homerun totals.
Though at this point, probably neither Judge or Stanton, as good
as they've been in their best years, are no longer HOF candidates.
Juan Soto still is probably, even if he plays next
year with the other storied New York team, the somewhat
amazing Mets.
I'll bet you 10,000 dollars right now he hits better than .225 and better than 25 home runs.
