2020. New decade. Still listening to this song. Regularly. The lyrics are absurd, the music is amazing, and I smile every time I hear this tune.
This is so wild. I downloaded the audio of this on Kazaa 15+ years ago when I was in high school and was obsessed with Jason Mraz for awhile. I met him in 2004 and he filmed part (or maybe all??) of his live album from that time in my city, Milwaukee. Good memories!
So happy he brought this back for the 2018 tour with Toca!
It's 2021 and I can't believe that I just discovered this amazing song 3 days ago. I feel pretty dumb now taking in consideration that I've been listening to Jason Mraz since 2006 when I got obsessed with "Geek In The Pink".
I dream, literally, of witnessing a Jason/Toca performance like this. Like any from the days of Java Joe's really. It is no less than mind-blowing.
If i only had one oportunity to travel to any day of any time/year/century it would be to the day in the video! My live would be complete after that! I really hope i get to see Jason before he retires, it would be my biggest dream come true!

So this was 22 years ago. Yep. I'm gone. lol The greatness of his vocals cannot be overstated. Toca's percussion and harmony and overall their ability to be in sync with each other..... wow.

This is awesome. I'll tell you though...that Ootmarsum concert changed my life! I don't understand how, but his music and temperament is so infectious and in short supply these days.

his facial expressions crack me up...and especially the "fancy, lucky me" part...hahahaha...my favorite song all time...and i agree with AgnesLupe...it'd be nice to see a brand new version of this song...im sure he could do wonders with it nowadays
