God led Elijah to a brook for water during a 3.5 year drought and fed him via ravens in the famine. I simply suggest to take in water during your fasts unto The Lord.
I don't think anyone in the Bible went without water while fasting and In a fast longer than 2-3 days you might need a pinch of salt occasionally to help your body retain moisture.

I left a church because someone in leadership was just not nice/ unkind. & I was warned 😅 b4 I 1st visited that church - & decades later Still the same 😕 I guess I was OK with myself being treated so curtly but it literally makes me ill thinking that is how my neighbors, friends, loved ones might be treated . . . If they wish to join as they're seeking Salvation! Altho I left that church I am not backslid; daily I seek God's will praying in the Holy Ghost, am into the Word & fasting etc. I am seeking a body of like minded believers in my area, pray for me as I shall pray for you!!!
Daniel specifically went over what he abstained from. He did eat certain foods. We must be very careful with preaching our opinion as Bible. God honors any true sacrifice. Everyone's body is different. As Paul warned, we should not compare ourselves to each other. Our fast is unto God, not unto people; it only matters what God Himself thinks. I know people that fasted 40 days, eating only specific things and God answered and moved on their behalf! I have done extended fasts before, of no food; but not everyone is able to do that. God honors us where we all are. A right heart and sacrifice are the keys.
@@LittersGang he specifically said that it's not a fast unless you're not eating any food. That's not true. In Daniel 10:2-3, Daniel specifically mentions the foods he avoided; it was not all foods, and yet God moved and he got a vision and angelic visitation.
@iamfree1094 after study, Daniel didn’t eat anything. Others that fasted as well didn’t eat and Esther took it as far as to not drink. God does honor what one can do but it is possible to completely abstain from food for a period of time.
