Everytime I hear this I cry. Some people who don't bother to finish, or don't understand Higurashi, think Higurashi is a sad anime, but it's not, it's the most joyful story I've ever seen. It is sad, but because of that saddness the joy is so much more powerful, so much more emphasized when you reach the end. The Dear You melody has become a hymn, it's not something you get tired of. It's something that reminds you of the touching parts of higurashi when you hear it. When I hear it I don't even want to listen to anything else afterwards XD
This anime...It's not all about violence and murder...It's about having miracles and being with your friends for the rest of your life! most people say this teaches you violence...most say it teaches you how to break fate...I say this song teaches you to break that fate and be with your beloved friends :)

@IamKagamineRin I beleve that Oyashiro is Hanyuu's daughter, this would explane why there is a statue of her in the shrine. However everyone in hinemezawa belives Oyashiro is the guardian of hinimezawa, where as we know that it is Hanyuu who is the guardian god of hinimezawa, again explaning why she gets upset when Takano refers to Oyashiro as the guardian god. And remember that Takano belives that the curse is purely the hinimezawa syndrome, which is why she doesnt belive in Oyashiro
