Ahhh! Thank you for taking me back to the country I love. Sentinel Pass, Larch Valley, Moraine Lake can't be beat, but there is so much more in this area - Lake O'Hara, Wenkchemna and much more. Now in my mid-70's, I have my memories but not the energy. Well done!
What a view, this is so lovely, I'm not a very outdoor person but there are times I know I want to see this place, this video is one of those places. Thanks fro a lovely share, looking forward to future shares.
I am back from our 3 week trip to the area. I simply cannot believe you just did that hike! My wife and I cheated a lot- we stayed 3 nihtsd at Moraine Lake Lodge and had the place to ourselves every night after everyone left. Now working on my video which should take several months to complete. Did several timelapses of the moonset/sunrise from the shoreline. Gorgeous footage. Thanks again for all of your help in planning. Never got to Bow Lake for the sunrise but did make a stop there in mid day. Apparently there is no place her to attach an image. Dale Miami
The smoke was always a problem with about 3 days of heavy blue haze obscuring all details in the mountains. We did have some great days with ayr blue skies and fluffy clouds. I have many still images but not able to attach them here on You Tube site.
My legs hurt watching this 😂 My pup (5 months old) just did her first 3 km trail… I don’t think I’ll let her see this or she’ll never let me take her to a trailhead again!
Hi Simon - great video as usual - I will be in Canmore from the 9th October till the 16th October - last 3 days of this in Emerald Lake Lodge. Is there anyway of getting to Moraine Lake during this time as I noticed the shuttles finished on 8th October unfortunately (sorry if this is out of the ordinary ) Any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers Glen from Oz!
Hey Glen, the road to Moraine Lake closes entirely after the 8th due to snowfall. The road has quite a big Avalanche risk so unfortunately there is no safe way to get there.

Thanks for watching. There is truly an endless amount of trails to complete!
The scenery in Canada is stunning

Karl's dog, Sekani, who came on this run loves it. Covers more distance than us!

how is the smoke situation on Banff/Lake Louise area?
I'm going there late September...
On that day it was bad. Been better recently, changes every day with the wind though.
