I got one. It works pretty good. But there is lag, so you gotta be careful that you don't crash the machine!
How much of a lag?
@@Dev_Everything It seems the same as if you are jogging by clicking the buttons on the control screen. You click the arrow, then it moves. With the pendant, you turn the wheel, then the machine moves the distance you turned the wheel. If you turn the wheel too far, you can't cancel the first movement by turning the wheel back--it will move the full first distance, stop, and then move back. You can end up with several move commands qued up if you aren't patient. I have worked around a Mazak fiber laser that responded instantly to the jog wheel, moving as fast as the jog wheel would turn. That isn't what this is. This is feels more detached, so you gotta go slow. Make sure that the machine is caught up before telling it to jog again.

Yea, I bought one as well and it doesn't give me the same confidence I had on my old mach3 machine. One click was .001" and it was instantaneous. I mean you could spin the dial fast and it would go fast, exactly proportional to you input. This wincnc one is nowhere near as good. And no, it's not because of a incorrect setup, my $50 amazon pendant was a million times more responsive.
@@jg_guitar9025 Yeah, I would hate to do without it, but the graduations mean nothing. I'm pretty sure WinCNC is the limitation.
